It's potentially the case...corruption and insider trading at these levels is rampant so wouldn't surprise.

Its a tough one...I really liked the ExpressVPN acq. - it was needed and gave the company an unbelievable platform.

However...I think it needs to be bed in more before more acquisitions take place personally. I could be proved wrong...

In fairness...Tobin is still buying and got response from him yesterday admonishing those moron shareholders.

I think perhaps its unwise to let the idiot shareholder dynamics influence decisions here. The richest and most successful investor associated with the company - and the one who has really achieved in the tech space - is accumulating. Although a torid time in terms of SP...have to keep a rational head.

If anyone interested...for the first time ever I got a response from Tobin after contacting:

'not sure what you want me to say. the business continues to perform and the widely publicised spats between shareholders are not helpful to the shareprice.'

fair enough...I strongly recommended the company release an RNS addressing the situation...all it has to be is in line with the above from Tobin (maybe a little less brash - although can imagine he is absolutely furious so not criticizing him for his tone).

Of course...debt laden, slow revenue growth, supply chain frictions and inflation pressures, mature industry of fashion retail ASOS....absolutely comparable to audioboom.

Of course they wouldn't...of all the tosh spouted on this board, the idea that Tobin buying is a bad/irrelevant thing is the biggest load of rubbish.

Here is a multi-millionaire (I estimate total wealth of c.50mm-100mm) who was responsible for the roll-out of data centres across Europe and sits on the board of one of the worlds best PE houses...he could put his money anywhere, yet he opted to hold 5% of this company. A few months ago his 5% shareholding was a very large chunk of his net wealth...and he was buying much more at over double the price now. He's still buying.

Has this share been completely ransacked by M&A rumour mills and a ton of shareholder dynamics re Bonnier etc? Of course it has.

Not many other companies though where you have the person who knows the most chucking his cash at it. Volex is the other one that comes to mind with Rothschild...not many others.

funnily enough I don't read the publications who are focusing on anexo, centralnic and kape...just came across scouting the AIM and do think they are just fabulous businesses. Don't give a toss about SP declines....the all three are absolute gems and will deliver immense value to those who are patient.

Honestly three of the best businesses I've ever come across, in particular CNIC and Kape. Audioboom is also on my radar...interested to hear fans of the other businesses in this chat thoughts on BOOM?

would agree with all of this.....Q3 will be a hard quarter unfortunately due to Morbid loss and market conditions re digital ad spending. But it is what it is and the business just needs to keep growing and close the gap.

I bought in this year so not so relevant...but longer term holders who bought pre the offer last year from Bonnier need to thank their lucky stars. Could have been your wealth and assets that were destroyed by him...obviously a really horrible piece of work. Honestly glad he is now holding only a few % and has no possibility of control...
