Regardless of whether you agree with Element or not, (I believe when he says he’s invested as he doesn’t do the research if he isn’t), there’s also a flipside to the 11-12p raise he thinks is coming. It’s a “base price worse case scenario”!!! He’s chosen 11-12p based on an investor helping Pepas get to production. So, WITHOUT anything else, our lowest price is 11-12p, which is when in theory the pathway to production is proven and if successfully managed means it’s ONLY UP from there. There’s not many explorers out there that have a base case scenario. Most could go bust or drop 90% in the blink of an eye.

We have 11-12p guaranteed with Pepas! If you are truly long term holders then this is good news. In 2/3/4/5 years, if management do what they say, then 11-12p will be long gone. Only if you’re a quick flipper would 11-12p worry you.

You can say what you like, but at least put some effort in to it. Saying “raise coming” for a £5bn mcap company that had a billion in cash just makes you sound stupid.

It means any potential investors coming here to read the board will ignore your posts completely 🤦‍♂️ Trust me, if OMI hits some amazing grades, they’ll be a lot of potential buyers coming across. This doesn’t help that possibility.

Hey Punter, I recommend staying off the GGP board, you’re not doing yourself or us here at OMI any favours with your questions over there. You know GGP have over $1bn in cash!! . It’s not an explorer or a minnow anymore to ask questions about raises 🤦‍♂️. It produced over 300koz last year from Telfer alone. It’s the biggest share on AIM.

It doesn’t need to be GGP vs OMI, Element has his theories and others have theirs. Both should be equally looked at. I’m still confident with my investment at OMI, but I’m also not naive to think the MRE was good, but I invested for the exploration so I’m not bothered abut the MRE. It’s just the beginning in my eyes but others are allowed to say what they want.

Think you have the wrong company Rob. There wasn’t a placing here in February, there hasn’t been a placing since we took over Telfer. We’re sellers of gold now…no placings needed…

There is a rule that allows companies to withhold drilling results if they name it all as ONE “drilling programme”. Most minnow explorer companies only ever have one drilling programme a year in total anyway, this is normal.

Problem is NO company ever withholds good assays. All this drilling has been kept under one “programme” so there’s no issue holding them back, but I’m not optimistic about them…it’s been far far too long.

The most important thing for minnow explorers is exposure to the markets. This needs constant RNS’s and news releases. I’ve never known a minnow to hold assays back and release them as a “one programme” RNS, GOOD OR BAD. It’s lowers exposure!

We’ve gotten a bit unlucky with our RNS timings last few releases! Always seems to be something major going on with the world/markets everytime we have good news.

Nevertheless it all adds value to the snake and it has to get out of this trading range soon I reckon.

Haha yeah, Mav I think you’ve mixed up how to count a share price. You don’t just divide value with number of shares. We currently have an mcap of around £40m so if we get to £415m mcap that’s about 10x the Share price, hence 40p’s share price.

There is no Gold at Clogau, plenty of us have been here long enough to know that.

We HAD a perfectly good Greenland project, which we divested and spun off to SAVE money from being spread out too thinly…then we go and buy ANOTHER Greenland project 🤦‍♂️ Go figure 🤷‍♂️

But apart from all the mistakes and lies we’ve been thrown for years, my question is “Who in their bloody right mind STILL buys into these raises??? How do they find the people to invest in them after all these years?!?!” Crazy 🤪

Loads of potential here in the next year or two, let’s hope he’s in the mood to make some money.

I feel £7.60 might be a real sticky point for us retail…they’ll be lots just breaking even again after all these years. Luckily, we have a few ‘institutional catalysts’ coming up that should help break through it.

With all due respect 99, if you haven’t got an explorer that’s 90% down, then you haven’t been in this sector long. The fact that we have explorers that are 90% down means you get to learn about the red and green flags.

Problem with Glencore is that they’ve been a very naughty company for a long time. Court cases galore coming up about bribery, corruption, false info etc. Cases are still due in court too. Would have been better if Rio had bought them out.

I bought in years ago on the back of the Stonepark Zinc deposit, which is valued at multiples of current mcap. Was expecting, and still do, for Glencore to eventually buy that up. (They’ve been stuck in takeout talks with Rio for god knows how long, hence no action - that’s been halted now so they might start getting involved again).

Then you have multiple other targets and minerals spread around the world, but the appointment of three new board members is the big one in my eyes. It means Teeling (CEO) is ready to let someone new have a go with Arkle and I’m looking forward to them showing us what they want and can do.

I liked the interview…relaxed, informative and zero ramping. He gave us multiple options to production with various outcomes, just need time to figure out the right one. I like the way he tempered expectations on El Pantano (so we don’t get another spike) and I liked the way they were looking at other sites fluidly. Dependant on external factors, we have varying options. The flexibility here is the selling point to me. Now we need to see whether they can pull it off.

Jury is still out on the cost to production and the jurisdiction, but happy to hold and see.

MRE?? Do you guys even know what an MRE is and what’s required to get to one?? Wishbone don’t even have gold yet. MRE’s take years and thousands upon thousands of metres of drilling. Let’s get assays first and then go from there 🤦‍♂️
