He knows his red onions from his garlics…this is VERY good coverage for us. Now we just need him to nudge Arkle in a few other directions and I can see us gaining some real momentum!

A solid article that covers the Stonepark asset nicely. That’s why I bought in years ago, which alone is worth multiples of current mcap. He calls it the “Sleeping Giant” in the article and it’s a very apt name. His Namibia and Botswana info was very educational and enlightening too.

Personally as well as financially, I’d rather they waited for Havieron to come online. More secure than going gung ho at this time. Especially with how the world is in flux at the moment.

As Rotherby elaborated, we have too much on our plate at the minute. Havieron is gonna cost $1bn and we’re gonna pay that with a mix of cash and the loan facility. The Winu 30% was recently sold for around $300-400m and Rio won’t be looking for a third wheel. It will be for the whole 70% or nothing. That would cost us over $1bn if using the above price. Too expensive to take on now when we need the runway and extra cash that Havieron will provide.

I mean for less than half of that $1bn we could feasibly buy Antipa who are close by and have nearly 4moz gold equivalent. Spending that much on a JV over 100km (Winu) away won’t be in their plans at the minute.

Plus it needs a whole new processing plant which most likely would cost billions too.

I can’t see us getting involved with Winu for at least 5 years. If we do, it will be way after Havieron has come online. Kings of Paterson in 10 years…

We have held up amazingly well, on a normal day I reckon this RNS would have had us close to 7p. Still feel a quick smallish rerate is on the cards when the markets settle a bit. The 70+m at over 1% copper was a beautiful strike!!

Management do have years of experience though Element. Even at majors like Barrick. The situation here is similar to GGP in the sense that OMI were restricted by the JV and couldn’t go about things in their own way.

It’s only recently become 100% owned by OMI again and I’m happy to give these guys the benefit of the doubt for the next 12 months. Things are progressing a lot faster now than it did during the JV and happy to see where they go from here.

Anza has a lot more potential than you think. You’ll find it’s a similar deposit to Cadia with the potential to be a massive gold system. Time will tell, but I think you’re being a bit harsh on the management team.

Yes, Pepas is gonna cost, how much we don’t know yet and no doubt they’ll be a discounted raise to get the cash, but I am expecting a lot more drilling results elsewhere before that raise is needed. I think they might go some way to increasing mcap before that raise is needed.

Break, you can’t value gold in the ground like that!! Stop talking about $1bn. A seller of gold in ground is luckt to get like 5% of true value when selling or pricing a deposit. I’m guessing you’re doing 220k x 5000 to get the $1bn.

GGP had 3moz of gold at the time of Newcrest and the valuation deal, so by your metric of 3m x 5000 p/oz = $1.5trillion. That 3moz eventually got valued by independent arbitration at less than $500m.

Element, AGEOS knows his stuff. He corrected his 900koz prediction later and came up with around 220koz before it came out.

And nice posts from you Orange, totally agree with the ‘Hopium’ aspect. As a minnow explorer we have some very fertile ground with much higher potential compared to most other explorers.

Don’t be scared of ‘base case scenarios’ guys. They’re a Godsend to minnow explorers. It underpins the share price for the heavier new investors.

Regardless of SP movements either way, I’m still confident holding.

I’m invested because I expect a lot more in the next 2-3-5-10 years regardless of whether it goes up or down until it gets there. I sleep sound and don’t have to chase stuff.

Fair question Isle. Maybe that’s what he does, I don’t know but I fairly sure you he’s not a troll/deramper etc. which this board loves to tag people with.

For me personally, it’s the stress and time!!! Two of the most important things in life. You want less of one and more of the other, so I buy and hold! I buy for a reason and then RNS’s, business and progress dictate my actions but only like every 6-12 months depending on company. That way I’m stress free over SP, buying at lows, selling at highs, always watching, always waiting, guessing etc. It’s just not worth the hassle.
