i was invested here a long time ago along. i was also in artemis at one point, so i know all about “radio hill” 😉. the original silver from elizabeth hill wasn’t processed here and the plant itself isn’t set up for this kind of ore. it would need adapting. and again, even if it was, the lom is very small and silver price would need another increase to make it worth while. capex and transportation costs will rise.

i invested years ago for han****. that’s ufo’s play…and it should have been their only play from way back when, but they delayed, delayed, delayed. it’s clear they want to sell it and not mine it.

What a dumbass post DRB. You insult others about not knowing and then talk about “high grade”! The fact that this high grade deposit is only 100k tonnes means it can be mined in a couple of days. No company would touch that. Most functional mines process over 1m tonnes a month. No one cares about a couple of days worth. It’s basically one big nugget! That’s never economical.

The cost of mining the ore itself for only a couple of days, means there’s no value there. Stop trying to suck people in!

Second, the Aussies know their mining. The tonnage at EH is only around 100k tonnes. This is uneconomical/profitable as the Life of Mine (LOM) is too short. Hence the high grades they are trying to peddle and make look good. Tonnage is key for LOM. Also, around 2.5moz is using only 76,000 tonnes. This will never be mined until a lot more tonnes are found. Munni-Munni is a better target but UFO is a waste of your good money.

Havieron IS the jewel in the crown…but good things take time. And to make good things even better, you sometimes have to take longer.

Havieron will be over 20moz eventually. With that amount of precious metal, you better get it right the first time. Telfer gives us that optionality. Think of it like building a new house on virgin land. The quicker you do it, the more expensive it is and the more mistakes you make…which eventually end up costing you more in the long run anyway.

With THAT MUCH gold at Havieron…you best get it right. The differential to our bottom line by getting Havieron spot-on…will be astronomical!!! Planning and execution are vital!

It’s all macro right now. If it wasn’t for the war we’d be between £9 and £10 right now after that Telfer upgrade. That would change the p/e again.

I agree with Ru4reall about TungstenInvestor…he’s been the same for a while and he popped up early yesterday morning with weird one line, one statement generic negatives again. THIS…is closer to the “troll” you guys all argue with and constantly battle. I don’t know why he does it but it’s pure ragebait. Yes there are trolls and yes there are disgruntled holders, but we need to start telling the difference between the ones that give info and the ones that don’t.

This is a quote today from probably the most respected poster on GGP since the dawn of Havieron.

“Confirmation bias” - it shouldn’t all be good all the time…if it is…then be very very very worried! We’ve all done it but it’s about learning ‘not’ to do it.

“Looking for negatives” - Yes, it’s tongue in cheek with the ‘impending doom’ but you get the idea.

“A little optimistic” - Challenge everything you read and don’t be afraid to disagree with the “so called experts”. At the end of the day, they are just another bloke/gal in the office with access to the same information we have (a few might have an extra 5/10% but most don’t). You can easily catch up to most of them with a bit of research.

It’s not “Us vs. Them” - it’s “All of Us vs. The Company”first and foremost!!! They need to prove over multiple years that they deserve our money and support. It’s not black and white…it’s grey until THEY “prove themselves”.

Everyone just needs to chill a bit…and concentrate on the actual company, more than posters on this board.

To make her feel better, with that amount of shares in GGP, on a smaller fee free broker, chances are she will lose a lot more on the spread difference than the fees paid, when she eventually decides to sell up.

If she’s getting charged £14.99 for ii then she’s on the higher package. I do not recommend moving that amount of cash to a smaller free brokerage. Not worth the risk if things go wrong or she needs a quick exit at some point. The upside to GGP will cover that each year quite comfortably.

If you are trading for “FREE” on the bigger platforms, then chances are you’re not in an ISA! Be careful, coz if you ever get lucky, like a lot of us did here at GGP, then you’re tax liability afterwards will be huge!! The payments for an ISA wrapper and well worth it!! 😱😅

If you’re trading for free and within an ISA (coz I know some smaller platforms offer this) then you will lose a little on the spread each time (buy and sell sides). This is fine if you’re trading pot is relatively smallish. But you need, NEED, to be within an ISA!!! You just never know when you might get lucky…and find a unicorn! 😍

Hey Tran, it’s a small transaction so hazarding a guess about it, I’d say it’s a trade on one of them smaller free brokers like 212 or free trade. That’s how they make their money when they offer free trading.

It’s fine if you’re dealing in smaller sums but adds up to quite a substantial loss when trading in bigger numbers.
