I’m not denying this TT. I know this, you know this and many others too...but at the same time there’s loads that don’t and I can’t help feeling it’s still hanging over us, whether we like it or not. Hi Z, personally I don’t think the brokers would use any areas that have not already “hit” something or have an assay or two already, so the 12moz they predict is I reckon using the current drill results.

The comment from Sandeep about “hitting gold with every hole” is a cracker...I don’t think we’ll get anything from this “new zone” tonight, although we can hope. In-fills will/should be monsters again...and I hope our pretty purple zone has maybe grown a bit in the NW.

As for Scally (face plant emoji) - it’s definitely something that’s towering over us like Death himself on his fine stallion aptly named Binky (coz it’s a nice name). But yeah, we need them out the way so we can move on. Either way, you’ve got to admit, this share is bloody well good fun!!

This includes block cave! Seems a bit excessive to me considering what we know about Cadia and other block cave projects. Massive room for improvement in share target in my eyes.

To Bamps, Hydro or you other mining experts...why does the DCF have over $2bn in capex for this project?

Sorry, that didn’t seem to like the copy and paste. Basically old valuation was based on the following:
2.0mtpa - 4.128moz/au - 115.8kto/cu - 13 year mine life - 13750 tonnes mined @6.4g/tau and @0.6g copper.

New valuation: 2.0mtpa - 3.472moz/au - 161kto/cu - 20 year mine life - 37150 tonnes mined @ 3.8g/tau and @0.6% copper

I’m at work, but managed a decent read through. There are working for the whole of the mine life up to 2053, so they expect a huge life and they cover a lot of bases. The $1950 seems excessive as does also the aisc though as well. And having another quick skim read, it does seem that this is purely based on around 5moz, no more. Plenty of scope to double and triple their target price depending on how much gold you think is down there. Will add more later when i can read it again.

Can we get back to the note please...from my understanding it’s based on only 3.4moz with maybe a little extra added for depth. AISC seems high too but they’re basing that on averages. A lot of averages actually used in the note, so those will change over time. But 30p for 3.4moz seems good to me. Conservative start to what could prove to be a monster mine?

Anyone else have an issue with VOX not bringing up yesterday’s GGP RNS?

Obviously all intertwined in terms of our shareholder value progress but the costs and financing are petty simply split into three at the minute -

Havieron - 50m loan for what we works are needed up to and including the first PFS.

Juri JV - 3m minimum first year spend by Newcrest, ran by our boys

Scally & Rudall & anywhere else - our money, our rules

The 50m loan is only for the progression of the Havieron works. In terms on the Juri JV, it will all be paid for by Newcrest. In terms of how it’s paid, before or after the drilling, I don’t know. I presume any work at Juri would be signed off by both parties. Antipa has similar JVs in place with Newcrest and IGO.

It’s a standard explorer/miner JV where they pay for all the work up to a certain amount for them to get their percentage. We won’t need to spend anything until that £20m is spent. The wording is below - obvs if they find another Havieron and want to progress things further quicker, then no doubt they’ll be an amended JV like here was at Havieron. But for now, we don’t need to spend nothing.

“Newcrest immediately receives a 25% interest in both licences and has the right to earn up to a 75% interest in the licences by spending up to A$20m as part of a two-stage Farm-in over five years, including an A$3m minimum commitment for Stage 1.“
