Yeah, makes perfect sense, thanks Bamps. The decline and placing of all the other infrastructure was the issue in my head too, but I am kind of hoping with my trail of thought from the start of this, that we hit some shallow stuff somewhere at Swag. Even if the good stuff is deeper, just a basic amount to allow us to have the option of tolling it at and then concentrating later on the rest of the juicy stuff deeper down.

(anyone with any info on the cost of these? struggling to find an example of another company taking ore to someone else's plant without a JV in place)

In terms of the licences, well that's just like any business. You want to do something, then you have to make the right applications to the relevant authorities. Regardless of whether it's hard work or not, if that's what you want to do, you do the leg work for it. (maybe that's what Shaun Day is here for (hands in the air to the side emoji). Here's hoping for some nice shallow stuff somewhere, anywhere in Swag just to get us started.

Bamps, is it not possible for us to concentrate on one area of Scallywag (even one area within Kraken like?) - say an area anything between 10-50sqm. Drill the frack out of that and till process what we get at Telfer, before moving to other areas of Kraken again. Is that not feasible? Would mean an extra bit of income without needing to drill or PFS the whole area at once.

Thanks for the reply Stebol. Was looking for info about the costs if anyone knows anything. In terms of the time to drill, yes, it would take longer but if it’s shallower as we expect, say 50m-200m and you concentrate drilling in one small area instead of whole area (like Newcrest at Havieron) you can sure up the ore amount quite rapidly. I was thinking we could possibly open pit mine it and without the need for the processing plant and other infrastructure, the PFS would be a lot quicker. We could start moving ore to telfer quite quickly I think (problem is if it’s mainly copper as telfer isn’t really set up for that).

In terms of the 21T Bully, not even Havieron will be able to supply that every year I think as it’s not easy to remove all that from one area. However Newcrest move forward I can see multiple sites resign Telfer in the short to medium term as they get proved up.

I’m all for a JV for Scallywag too, on better terms obviously, however, I can’t help thinking of the tolling route also. What’s stopping us from keeping Scallywag 100% and using Telfer as our processing plant? I haven’t researched the cost of this yet in terms of how much we would have to pay Newcrest to use the plant. It would though allow us to keep drilling alone and maybe end up mining it alone without the huge capex required for the processing plant itself. Anyone know the intricacies and costs of using someone else’s mine to process our ore?

Wouldn’t be too harsh on yourself RC. Calculating $1000 profit per ounce when we’ll be mining the ore for years to come, with the expected rise in POG, should cover all expenses in my eyes.

When chasing rainbows, remember even after HAD005 you could still get GGP at around 2-3p - for the sake of your sanity and wealth, only buy explorers after good drill results (thumbs up emoji)

Latest Berenberg note had 33p with just Havieron at 12.5moz Tymers. There was zero mention or valuation of any of our other tenements this time. Makes you wonder why they even used them last time (hand on chin emoji)

Sprout, you are looking at things too generically. The double camel as you call it only really happens when the explorer themselves decides/tries to go it alone or when there is no massive mine already built next door. i'll let the people that like to type a lot more explain the ins and outs of it for you. You're a very strange poster, can't figure you out.

Guys, if you’re interested in more of the Paterson then there’s only one option - Antipa (AZY) - look at their acreage in the area, 3 JVs already (Newcrest, Rio & IGO) with less mcap than Artemis, with a resource of 2.2moz already and also they’ve kept a bit of land under their 100% ownership. If anyone’s gonna hit big there again it’s them. They have land both near Winu find and Telfer mine. No others come close to them in the area.
