Has anyone managed to work out where this short-term debt has come from yet? All still seems a bit fishy given the liability doesn't appear to be in the latest interims. I'm sure folk will read what they wish into the premium but just feels somewhat 'spoofy' to me with a 0.8p issue price there for the signalling effects more than anything else. Curiouser and curiouser.
FaHP - I don't necessarily disagree that cm45 has an ulterior motive but the whole "are you invested" is pointless on these boards. Debate or ignore what you perceive as deramping but it's a free world for people to post where they wish to post. I've posted a range of views on stocks I hold, don't hold, have held or would never hold and think the instant castigation of anyone who has an alternative viewpoint as a deramper / trying for a lower entry point is very boring. Besides, someone could quite easily just say yes when they don't have a holding so asking the question is essentially pointless.
I'm sure you have your own particular motivations for posting that you smell a placing cm45 but you are clearly speculating based on supposition rather than factual information. None of us PIs will ever know what's going on behind the scenes but I've seen similar price action historically when one of the two major investors is top-slicing. Given the cash held as at 30th September and the $7m+ receivables, the CFO herself was comfortable with the working capital levels and noted the potential utilisation of the invoice financing facility if required at the piworld presentation hence, while never saying never, I am not convinced the company would go to the market for funds as a first port of call.
Ha, possibly shouldn’t have found that as funny as I did. Cap does indeed fit rather well. Did he/she/it respond to my carefully thought out message then? I must have missed the highly insightful cobblers prior to it being deleted. Looks like our friend has spent this week getting spiked on ONL and FRR, if indeed he/she/it has ever actually purchased shares in a company; I’m not wholly convinced. Anyhoo, back to ZOO...
Blah blah blah? Yadda yadda yadda! Meh boo balderdash shizniz tingz stuff and nonsense? No sense is nonsense so sense is none. What you talkin’ bout Willis? I pity da foo’. Cracken cracked crackers crickey not cricket. In summary: see you next Tuesday.
Blimey, cheers for the full and detailed analysis Charlie. Broadly agree with what you say and the guidance itself reiterates the increasing investment to satisfy increasing demand and future growth and the cash flow has been hit by certain relatively high 'abnormal' finance costs. I only have a small holding right now as I first bought in the mid 20s, while being slightly nervous that the sp had nearly tripled since the April raise, and added but took some profit before and after the results as often find stocks come off once news / results released and so just mindful of some more consolidation, particularly as HIM/HH seemed to be (understandably) top-slicing. Personally think there is a lot to be excited about with Zoo in terms of the current positioning and future prospects with Zoodubs etc as well as the preferred vendor status with Netflix and decreasing concentration on the main client so I'm gradually getting back involved as a £35m market cap just feels on the low side. Most folk say this about their holdings, and may well not be in the short term, but IMO could easily be a takeover target as would be buttons even at 3 x the current market cap.
This Newbridge acquisition looks like it could be game-changing; only problem is that spread! Seems to move sharply on relatively small trades (in both directions). May keep the traders away but some increased liquidity would be welcome. Buy on weakness and hold for me.
Wolfstreet - there is certainly a discussion to be had with regard to the valuation of ZOO based on the fundamentals / major increase in FY revenue compared to the relatively large pre-tax loss / growing trade receivables / the impact on cash-flow / growth so far this year being priced in / future prospects yadda yadda - the point being made about Cracken is the comparison between his/her/it's Friday's negative 50p posts and Monday morning's 80p posts and Monday afternoon's 30p posts. Hence those on this board generally ignoring the latest gubbins from said individual and our somewhat facetious responses as that is all he/she/it really deserves.
The TW/HSR buy tips can often create their own self-fulfilling spikes by punters getting involved once tipped which can, arguably, skew the advertised gains. Some may actually do their own research but I imagine a number simply blindly follow the tips even if just for a hopeful momentum trade. Personally I take more note of the bearish views on HSR/SP etc; regardless of any supposed "underhand" motivations they are a useful gauge of sentiment on certain stocks, if nowt else...
