I've been adding since Friday as was wary of potential sales towards the end of the last tax year. Price seems to have consolidated over 100p so got back involved more heavily. Trying not to fall in love with the stock... just lust for now. DYOR and all that...
Hmmmm, depends on your risk profile and likely time horizon and all that jazz graybird... Don't think anyone can "advise" you what to do and especially not if you're thinking about punting 100k's worth... May well be a trading update after the 31st March year-end but, personally, I'm in two minds - Has been a lot of momentum in the sp; nearly doubled this year and put on circa 50% since the first week of March so would likely err on the side of caution as, prima facie, market cap starting to look a bit toppy given where the company is right now. But, as we all know, markets are forward looking and may even be a surprise to the upside (though would likely have to be a big one) which could send another rocket under the sp towards 100m market cap or so (and I still think there'll be a bid for ZOO one day...) To an extent, the price action seems to have been dictacted by the institutions which hold a fair whack of the shares but they seem to be top-slicing with an eye on not cratering the sp in the main. If in your shoes, I'd probably look to cost-average your overall buy... But if I was actually in your shoes, I'd prob punt at least half the 100k on a couple of other stocks...
Only 10% or so from my quid target sp. GG79's in-house broker may well have to increase his price target...
I said I was going to make a complaint and the guy I spoke to gave me this pre-written spiel that complaints on not being able to deal would be rejected. Given it took up to an hour and a half for all my trades to be executed I'll still be making a formal complaint re Best Execution not being fulfilled as there were clearly insufficient steps in place and failure of systems is not something any provider can hide upon these days, particularly under MiFID II.
Same issues with Halifax all day. No matter what stock I'm trying to buy / sell - all NT. Spoke to them and issues dealing using the platform so all having to manual deal. Took an hour and a half for all my placed orders to be filled. Farcical beyond belief.
There were three "1 trades"... And also two on 1st March. Glad you aren't a believer ;)
Hope you've stopped banging your head by now CAGNEY. Just think what LACEY would say. Won't make any difference so, as hard as it is with all our basic human psychology, have to move on. Somehow. One day. Mind you: Never say never... Hindsight is a wonderful thing... Profit is profit is profit... Hold on to your winners... Still think will get to a quid in short order. I made the mistake of selling NFLX way too soon; have lightened the load on the old ZOO but still have a holding for the (imo) impending end game.
Agree theiceberg - especially with the number of times I've seen Beaufort exercising massively in the money warrants (often appearing relatively soon after one of their bullish broker notes)... Allied with the usual 5% min fundraising fee and annual broker charges, Beaufort and their ilk should be creaming it in.
Couldn't agree more Widened... I bought some on Monday morning after the Sunday night tweet but was more for a momentum trade. It's an odd one where you may like a stock but then see the usual rampers and 15p by tomorrow comments which then put you off in a way so I sold for a decent bit of profit a couple of hours later (and then watched it carry on further). Bought some more on yesterday and today's weakness and pleasantly surprised with the outcome (but still a slightly ahem dirty feeling when you see the usual rampacious names here). It seems some folk don't always learn and just blindly follow the hype but yes, DYOR as ultimately you're the only one who pushes that buy/sell button. Ps 20 quid tomorrow here I reckon.
Possible RTO apparently, possibly, maybe. US-listed company. Presume NASDAQ. We can but wait and see. Owt is better than nowt.
Thanks gregpeck7, I don't disagree in terms of momentum but profit is profit is profit and such-like. Might even buy some more; will just let my multiple personalities duel and figure it out that way...
Blimey, 30p paid. My high-flying punt has doubled in a fortnight. To top-slice or hold on; one of the sort of problems I don't mind having...
Learn what a rollover is.
Fair enough. Each to their own and profit is profit is profit and all that. Given this is AIM then I can understand your wish to bank your profit when the sp approaches an all-time high. I was thinking of trying to be clever by selling and buying back but that doesn't work out all of the time so happy holding for the medium term. May just be psychological but I do think the price could reach 100p in fairly short order. A lot may well depend on HH/HIM's top-slicing but, touch-wood, relatively decent liquidity so we shall see!
Seems a heck of a lot more chat action with ZOO over on ADVFN. Mark-up today being attributed to a write-up/tip in the Penny Share Letter. I'm clearly talking my own book up but do think the climb towards 100p is fairly achievable over the next 12 months if not sooner given the potential for this company, the space it's in, USP etc. etc.. Still think could be taken out for relative buttons too... 5 by Friday lads and lasses. Ok, best stop having top bantz with myself now.
Keep the tick-ups coming VEL baby. Long live a quiet LSE board too.
Think combination of CB's tip and the stock being new to market. Add in the low number of shares in issue of which 63% or so are not in free float and the stock does seem to be relatively illiquid so these buys are squeezing the sp up. May well work the same in the opposite direction of course... For info, I did actually try adding a number of times in between Christmas and new year but wasn't receiving any offers at all. Can buy and sell in decent size now though.
I'm in. Interesting sector and opportunity to use the software in other markets at some point in the medium term. Still a fair bit of risk attached but mitigated, at least in part, by relatively low market cap, management/related parties still having decent sized holding post IPO and company seeming to be making profits, even if these are on an EBITDA basis... Hopefully have some more meat on the bones with a trading update in early 2018.
