It's because I sold out on Friday. You're all welcome.
See the RNSs... Only real update on trading I've seen was the AGM statement and the notice of results RNS gave date as 13th for the release. Price got up to 68p on back of Friday tip but fallen since; waiting to see if it can recover over 60p today...
Great name BDSM. Something to do with Business Development/Sales & Marketing right? Ermm... ZOO was mentioned on ************* earlier so may have supported the morning uplift. Fall may just be HH/HIM top-slicing or PIs doing so after recent stellar run. Personally agree with maxdba as sp often falls on actual results releases but, of course, not always. I'm looking to take some profit over the next couple of weeks ahead of the results but will prob do my usual caught in two minds strategy and sell half and leave half in just in case...
AIM's best kept secret... I've averaged up at 45p and then 56p yesterday. Thought I may have been silly to do so but we've ZOOmed up again today. (Apologies for the dad joke.) Wouldn't mind more info on the financials in the form of a trading update/capital markets presentation as the AGM statement was v bullish on revenue but did note lower gross margins. Market cap still feels relatively low but difficult to be certain just yet as to where the stock is/could/should be. Will just have to wait for the results in a couple of weeks I guess.
I'd hope the facilities may possibly be debt finance based on future offtake agreements but yes any clarity on this would be useful. Cheers PopeUrbanll.
Brief summary of today's Finncap note; v bullish and comparing to Keywords Studios... Sp feels a bit toppy for now but I also said much the same at 45p... Kinda tempted to add but may wait for a bit of profit taking first, if it happens: "Growing industry (14% 4 year CAGR) Good customer relationships (Netflix, top 6 Hollywood studios etc) Competitive advantage in terms of their cloud software platform Strong estimates for Netflix’s streaming revenues and excellent relationships with TV Studios."
Seemed to be a relatively quiet day then suddenly that 1.75m buy... I've only got involved recently in the mid 20s and was scared of being spiked after the recent run. Market cap still only £35m even at this level so not sure where/when the sp will take a breather. Results out on 13th November so will prob look to take a view based on price action over the next couple of weeks. Re the major holders - do you mean based on the recent RNS releases? Just seems to be HIM/HH discretionary clients if those are what you're referring to? Unlikely any bid from them on the way but who knows who else may be out there...
That's why I said "If I were to do the same". Keep up.
Nice cherrypicking. If I were to do the same then: "In addition, Altona has been running on fumes for a while now, not helped by a recent claim from a former director, but things started to turn on 13 October once it announced a placing to raise 210,000 at 0.05p. Since then, the Twitter troops have been in full voice and the share price has rocketed to a close on Friday of 0.65p more than ten times the placing price! It almost goes without saying that I dont believe that the value of these coal assets has suddenly jumped significantly to this extent as the company doesnt even know how it is going to get the stuff out of the ground yet and it is going to need some more funding imminently too. It is worth noting though that this goes to show the power of getting the right people in on placings like this as getting say 15-20 influencers in at 5,000 a pop can be worth their weight in gold, particularly if it enables Altona to raise some more meaningful funds at say 0.4p or higher. It reminds me of the MySQUAR (MYSQ) placing in April at 0.85p followed by a massive ramp which facilitated a further placing at 3.75p three months later in July (aided as well by the companys own ramping of its revenue numbers as well covered on this website."
Bullish Jarv55? Errr, not if you actually read the article.
Offer for Aldermore announced this pm has given the VM. sp the little boost...
Anyone know anything about the raft of trades at 18p from 10am today? Doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the sp and seems to have ticked up. Maybe broker-to-broker / crosses or similar? Gawd knows.
How excited would you have been to see the headline of today's RNS? How disappointed once you saw the recommended offer price? Somewhat frustrating for anyone buying in the market the last month or so no matter how the RNS tries to spin it. Also, I may not have kept up to speed with the company recently but the purchaser mentions "The acquisition of Elektra" in the RNS - can't see anything on eg's website re Elektra or on Google? Am I being thick? It's possible.
That foolish market... not taking any notice of us bulletin board posters. Damn them all to hell and back. On a serious note, does seem to be ticking up daily. I've been gradually shaving my holding but still have a hand in just in case. 230p doesn't look that far off...
All you have to do is read this board or, better still, a couple of the recent RNS... DYOR is the term I believe.
All the relevant information you seek is available in the company's regulatory releases so best to take a look through these for your research.
I'd say so.
