pianista - the flyb bb is still there with all its historic posts including the hyping posts by serial rampers claiming bidding wars, and massive profit opportunities, which regrettably helped contribute to peoples losses, over there.

My advice to all who lost over there would be to re read through the hyped posts and make a note of those posters names, it should help ensure lightening does not strike twice, with peoples future investment decisions.

gell - i read your list of shares where you have recently lost money over on the UKOG bb.

it seems you have been sucked into a number of poor decisions, on a variety of shares, and whilst i understand your frustration, may i offer you some constructive advice, which is stop listening to rampers, and choose your buy in price very carefully, don't hang around too long and bank your profits, on the more risky plays.

the whole idea is to pick up shares at decent prices and either hold for growth and income if they are div payers. if they are early doors aim shares get in and out quickly whilst banking a quick trade profit.

so its - buy low and sell high my friend. you seem to have things back to front, maybe look back on why and when you bought into positions, and consider who and what were your influences. what out for serial rampers they can cost you dear.

More info on the post by EFLammis, - STOB confirmed as the operator, at Durham Tees Valley airport.

The council has as promised taken the airport back into public hands with a deal of £40m agreed in Jan, alongside a £588m ongoing public investment plan.

There are no details on specific routes or flights. STOB will be heavily involved in the 10 year development plan.

Volcano - that poster was Moniman, though at the same time he was also massively ramping FLYB insisting that pi's over there couldn't go wrong as he assured them that a bidding war was in place.

His sp predictions for FLYB, increased on an almost daily basis, i believe he peaked out at 90p or was it £1 - anyway like all that raised the hype, following the "for sale" rns historical posts remain available for all to read.

Bit of a tick up today, and a nice little run up for those that took a position at the low of £1.44 last month.

renegade & rodders - totally agree with you both, there have been many bbl's where people have fallen for degsy's ramps. his latest being rmp. more recently he cost many dear on bpc.

he plays on people, posting just what they want to hear, during drills, but is usually gone by the time reality hits.

i'd advise all to be very wary of him, though surely having been called to account on most bb's surely most are aware of him by now.

hi bumbling - thought the trading statement was pretty much as expected.

in previous updates targeted passenger no's at Southend were 5m at £10 EBITDA from 2022.

in today's update looking forward STOB is planning investment infrastructure at Southend to serve 10m customers per year which is a massive hike in planned numbers though no time frames are indicated.

Carlisle airport is now panned to re open on the 4th july.

turning to the div its there is no reduction, its presently 1.5p per quarter, now moving to 3p per half year.with the remaining non core assets, when sold being re directed into income generating opportunities.

i'm guessing you missed the previous announcement on this, maybe your focus is more on AMER lol - i'm also holding over there, awaiting more news flow.

Back to STOB, i am anticipating further progress in planned developments during 2019 and 2020.

gell - if you lost money on FLYB you were ether a lth who didn't get out following several years of bad news rns. or you got seduced by the serial rampers over there, claiming easy profits from a bidding war, which was nit the case.

you may want to read back over some of the worst rampers history, their, and your posts remain for all to read.
as with all investment decisions you pressed the buy button, and you must look yourself in the mirror each morning.

your post rallying all on FLYB to post venom here is at best embarrassing for you personally, but hey ho, its a free country.

i'm guessing you were not present during any confidential meetings between any parties involved in the bidding and buy out process., so your views are coloured by your losses my friend.

should any wrongdoings be proven by any investigations, then appropriate actions will be taken. maybe sit on your hands until any facts are in the public domain.

welcome to the STOB bb, perhaps you may consider toning down your language, though. BTW, are you planning on investing in STOB, or do you have another agenda ?

Taverham - it appears your post is based on your losses on FLYB, which are of course regrettable, but not wholly avoidable i'm afraid to say.

i personally, made a little out of the "bidding" feeding frenzy over there. i noticed some of the usual serial rampers had arrived, over there, piling in with their usual rubbish, and quickly took advantage- in and out, asap.

FLYB represents yet another learning curve, for many, who probably or possibly did not take the opportunity to read back through rns, and decided, to trust raging ramping, where any voice of reason was insulted and derided.

Turning back to STOB, i'm looking forward to the forthcoming capital review, the increased passenger no's planned for the coming years at Southend Airport, the confirmation that Carlisle Airport re opens on 4th July, together with the targeted investment opportunities, within Stobart Energy.

As to the £100m + Connect airways investment, no doubt more detail as to the ongoing plans and progress will be made available ovér the coming months and years.

Omerta - am less than worried about young bucks on the block - worked in the city in the 80's and 90's, myself, done that been there.

I picked up my LGEN shares as a Brexit Gift on 29th June 2016 at 180.95p.

The total div for the year is 16.42p - that gives me a return of 9.07% this time round.

All good for me - out of the rat race three years ago, and am enjoying an early retirement,.

Will continue to reinvest the divs,

Works for me, to be honest this is one of the shares in my portfolio, which i rarely spend too much time on, just read the rns when they come round

Taverham i've read all posts on FLYB by all pi's, be they Lth's who didn't get out or average down, rampers and influenced novices.

There have been many accusations levied, let's wait and see if there were any Mis doings by any parties. Regrettably many frustrated FLYB posters are looking everywhere for the cause of their losses, everywhere except in the mirror.

A quick read of my posts here will explain I am on a free carry with STOB, and am looking at the medium to longer term here.

You are not the first FLYB investor, to post kind thoughts and advice here. I personally don't invest on "investment tips", I'd recommend caution to others considering taking any advice from any pi on a BB.

Imv everyone who posts on any bb has an agenda, and why shouldn't they - we all have our individual views.

There are a number of posters on various bb's who have shown valuable in depth knowledge in a variety of industries and I read their posts with interest.

Forgive me I'm by no means wishing to cause offence but may I ask how much you lose on FLYB ?

i'm less than trusting of CH, particularly when his lips move, unkind perhaps but based on numerous times when he said one thing and did another.

you know my views on the extension to the Oct 2017 cash raise for example. i prefer to wait for rns.

this co. needs the permits, they may well come, and if without any conditions attached there should be a short spike, quickly followed a fund raising.

btw jester i'd be very surprised if you have read all my posts on lse on a variety of co's. i don't ramp as i have said before i trade on news, rumour, sentiment and daily trading volumes.

generally i find one glass half full post, often achieves many replies from those with money in the game. it gives me a feel as to sentiment, and provides a useful insight.

i suspect the restricted cash is still sitting at £178k - otherwise i would have expected it to have been updated in an rns.

you know i've traded AST,and should any positive news be forthcoming i may again.

we fell out back in Aug when i suggest that those those that sold out at between 1.15 - 1.17 following the con conference call, with induced the spike at time.

if rather than throwing abuse at me at that time you had followed suit, and sold up you could have repurchased 3x the volume of shares with change on the back of the recent cash raise. this jan.

jester you are right i don't ramp - i leave others to do that, i post as i see and if rankles with you, frankly i don't give a jot my friend.

regrettably you must acknowledge with hindsight i was correct in aug and sept was i not.

however my comments at that time were based on foresight were they not ?

14.6.mcf is by any standards a very disappointing fall off in production levels over the year jan - jan.

i'm CH is very much aware of pi's views on cash placings, sometimes though BOD's get boxed in, and have no option but to raise.

i've read 2/3 differing posts on the possibility of vendor finance for compressor equipment, were any factual figures provided. one suggested a monthly option, were potential monthly contract costs provided, together with any minimum monthly contract requirement ?

hawailifive0 - you state that it was crystal clear to you that ast has a decent level of cash, atm. did they provide any actual present cash balances in the bank ?

btw did any cash figure provide mentioned last night include a split between free cash and restricted cash under the INA gas sales agreement ?

i suspect not, but as i was not at the meeting - please feel free to update this bb.

we are well aware of income receipts reported monthly but costs are only ever available every 6 months in the finals and interims.

we do know the production income in 2018 its been reported at circa £2.1m in a recent rns, that was based on monthly falling production and revenues.

in jan 2018 production was 79.5mcf in jan 2019 this had fallen to 14.6 mcf.

what is your best guess as to the free cash position at dec end soon to be reported in the finals out in Apl ? - come up with a figure my friend.

cash is king - that's why the desperate placing cash raise for an additional £350k took place in jan.

this company is presently loss making ( as are most similar aim type of co's ) - that's not a problem as long as pi's are well aware of how they are funded.
