The spread on the Atkie is currently 1.16%. On AIM it is currently 5.8%. The buy price in Sweden at mid exchange rate is 6.69p. On AIM it is 6.193p. Does anyone know if a method exists to sell my shares in Sweden? if we can have free movement of people and free movement of capital then why not.

This is not a good outcome at all. The one positive thing is that we have a contributor in ADF that has got it right all along. Clearly ADF understands the Swedes better than anyone else here.

Yes. It had to rise as it as 13% lower at one point. The MMs moved the price up to prevent people like me exploiting the difference by buying more at the discounted price, which i tried to do. As I could only buy 10,000 I didn't bother. The person that paid 5,99 must have bought 'at best' so got milked.

I agree. It is opportunistic. The only consolation for us is that it demonstrates a degree of confidence in where the share price is heading. They could have easily waited a few more weeks, but greed trumped respect for the shareholders. They will not be allowed to forget this if the share price rockets from here.

The decision to award the options at this moment suggests to me that the company recognise that the share price is on the cusp of moving higher very quickly into a volatile phase. It makes sense to them to get this done now given that the share price has risen 30% in 5 weeks and a new government is likely to be formed this week. To me it shows they are confident that the concession will be granted and that it might happen quite soon. If they were not confident they would know that the share price has further to fall in the future and awarding options would then be best left until a future date. The decision implies that the Company believe that the share price is unlikely to fall below its December low. I see it as a positive development as it implies they believe, like many of us, that the concession will be granted in the near future.
