In this presentation RB mentions that one of the 7 mines in the Pan American Silver mining portfolio is being closed due to resource being depleted. The company accounts report released 8 May state that the Timmins Mine is held for sale. This could be where the second hand plant will come from.

My interpretation of the absence of any public comment from Beowulf management following the meeting with the Swedish Government ministers is because nothing has changed since the Beowulf's previous update stating a decision by the start of the summer. If the meeting had been convened to give bad news to Beowulf then we'd have heard about the bad news by now.

Has anyone else got an opinion that explains the loud silence. Only 17 more business days to go.

I'm sure they did mention court action. It is only a matter of days now. Summer starts 21 June. Twenty business days days to go then. I'm going to make an advent calender tonight

I think the fact that Beowulf management have now met up with two Government ministers all in a room together is quite a positive development.

Acacia has numerous problems. The Tanzania Government is prosecuting the company for environmental breaches and three of the staff are in jail on corruption charges. Their Measured and Inferred gold resource is 12 Mill ounces. They have 3 operating mines, whereas Condor has none. I'm not sure we can read much in to the price comparison but it is good to see M&A's continuing to happen.

If B2Gold's do make a low offer that would put Condor in the front of shop window and likely to attract other offers. B2Gold won't like that as they could miss out completely. There is a place for goodwill that even a vulture understands. £100m could be enough to satisfy both parties, with payback within 2-3 years.

Lets see what MC says this evening. I am looking forward to someone posting a report.
