I know charts can be useful for trading, tho they are a closed book to me.

But surely, with HUR so dependent on the next ops update, they are of limited use here?

If the next ops update is good, up we go, and vice versa.

Back in what we didn't realise were the good old days, we had several posters vying to predict the next offload, divine the amount, and extrapolate to daily production. It wasn't always right, and at times misled, but it would be useful to see that sort of even half informed detective work on here now, rather than the drivel we get to sift thru every day.

Thx to posters talking on BHP issues, I'm not sure I can draw any firm conclusions. But I WILL say agree with AWK re the BoD "kitchen sinking" the last RNS. Common practice for new BoDs to get all bad news, and even to overegg potential bad news, in order to give themselves a clear run.

But there is a cost per RNs. I don't know how much, but presumably to the comms advisers.

My take on it fwiw (not much!) is that the Bod want to have something positive to report as much as we do. Whether they slowly ramp up 4 alone, or try different flow rates in combo to test the inteference issue, they can judge better than me, or any of us for that matter.

My guess is that if 4 shows a significant problem, they are obliged to tell us ; the longish silence is therefore likely not a bad sign.

If, otoh, they are slowly ramping up, and mb opening up 7z again, similarly, silence not be a bad sign.

So i'm very tempted at these levels to put a bit more back on the table...…..but not tempted enough, at least not yet.

I suppose the worry is that with 7z shut down, and 6 WC up to 8%, it might be pulling on the same water pocket, tho from further along its wellbore. In turn, this might lead to a higher WC over time.

Equally, of course, we might see a stable WC, and might even see 7z reopened in due course and the interference issue somehow managed at a decent production rate.

The problem is, we just don't know!

That was the arrangement communicated at the 2019 AGM by Alistair Stobie. Of course, a new CFo , and different circumstances, might have changed that. But I doubt it.

It is possible, but more likely they are at spot, imho.

Difficult to forward trade when you can't forecast your production rates.

this has not been stated, nor is there anything in the distancing rules, afaik, which would prevent operations. If bus drivers and shop assistants are back at work, and NS rigs operating, what in the rules could stop a EWT?
