As advised previously, Churchill continues to engage large coal and energy groups about potential joint venture opportunities at the EKCP. To date, four groups have completed extensive investigations into the project and are between 50% - 70% of their way through their respective detailed due diligence, including having appointed investment banks and others to complete valuations based on the project. Whilst these groups are substantially advanced in their investigations, Churchill can give no assurance on whether this will lead to an offer or whether any potential offer will be to the satisfaction of Churchill. The Company also continues to have ongoing discussions with a number of investment and project financing institutions.

The unfortunate issue with LGO is the tri partite situation 1) No analyst reporting, I will be surprised if it shows up on any of their screens; 2) The distinct lack of media pundit reporting and 3) It is tied in with other tiddler oilies who in turn receive little or no attention. DAN Recent substantial share buying has alerted me to the possibility that DAN will be taken out sooner rather than later. In my opinion of the true worth of this broker is upwards of 5p/share. With ASTR rampent at the moment mopping up competitors which in turn will turn it into a global player and be swallowed up by a bigger fish, but that is for another time and place, but for now I rate DAN as a takeover target at current sub 2p/share levels.

Announces that the first payment for the sale of the Nimu Project has been received in the account of the Company's 100% owned Chinese-registered company called Chengdu Zhong Cheng Mining Technology Development Company.As per the agreement, the payment of approximately £1.8 million was sent before the 12th of August 2009.
