Results flat, which is OK, but not exciting for the market.
IMO If that special dividend wasn't included in the current expected yield then the SP would be much much lower, given we have high inflation and investors demand some sort of return (otherwise what's the point of a having an investment).

So history repeats with RMM.
They'll spin the yarn of a mine full of copper at 6gpt, when in fact they extract at 2gpt with huge cost and high AISC, extra buildings and wotnot, sell a load more shares to their buddies who make a fast 20% then stock split 100 to 1. A whole new set of greedy retail suckers will buy into the story thinking they'll make a 10 bagger, paid rampers will appear pumping the story and anyone opposing this story of riches will get get banned from the forums. Rinse and Repeat.
I bought shares here almost 14 years ago.
Same story then as now. I think a £1000 investment then is now worth less than a tenner.
IMO Sell now or average down with a view to sell on the next spike.

Only way for the sentiment to reverse is for THG to start posting a proper profit.
Whilst they keep posing losses Moulding's billionaire snout which was deep the trough of his own company's listing will not be put to any sort of distant memory by any investor, retail or institution.

Bought back in yesterday at 182.
Today's move brings me back in the black overall. I feel the SP is at it's floor just above historic lows of 177 in April 2013.
May hold or trade with a top slice target 200p, or as Trek points out, a yield around 4/5% if holding through.
Plenty of director buys recently from 189 to 214 in August including Alexander G Catto with 1.7 million shares at 200.75.

Hi Pokerchips and all, to add to that I had Fevertree G&T's whilst at Burning Man Festival, Nevada just last week ! Far removed from Fevertree and Tarquins down in sunny Cornwall.
Anyway. Just bought a holding today. Lowest SP range since July 2016, last two dividends mean a current yield of 6.8% if all stays the same, looking for a bounce then results and divi declaration next week.
Either hold or possible trade on an uptick. We'll see.

I find it staggering that people still do not understand basic maths, percentages, and how virus's behave.

Kwarteng will be under huge criticism if he cuts the subsidy but its nature will keep it out of the main stream media so if they can get away with such a cut, this government will.

Government subsidies account for 62% of the revenue here, compared to NESF's 50%.
With the current government's bad attitude to green energy some of these may be under threat, but surely the Inflation Reduction Act across the pond will swing the pendulum the other way as argued in this article.

"What's the catch?" On the face of it, it's either a hopeless waste of our cash or a great deal. If the mine truly was economic then the first question is surely AzerGold would be developing it, or, they may have considered they have too many exploration areas in their portfolio and can easily sell a couple. Could be there's some sort of deal going on between shareholders that may or may not be of both companies and this is some sort of liquidation of the cash to go along with a buyback. TBH I'd rather they increased the divi.

IMO AAZ are still wondering how they can buy back the shares of those holders wishing to exit at the highest price whilst they only want to buy at a low price, all whilst not attracting the herd. 3 trades today.
They'll need something big, like good Libero findings or increased production to attract any decent volume.
Meanwhile, this company remains in the doldrums by self-action. It would be easy to raise the share price by using proper levels of dividends from their stack of cash, then use the higher SP to acquire rather than cash.

Well, broke my rule due to enthusiasm and bought just now, my average is 96p so I'll only buy more if there is a proper dip, which could easily happen if the FTSE does it's usual spank back to 7000 or lower. Many shares available today, in the past just trying to buy £1000 worth has been a toil.
