RE: Recent trades and a dissection of the current BPC share price/market cap11 Sep 2020 11:44
I am trying to look at it from a neutral point of view. I am happy to continue buying as long as the SP is around 2p and maybe up to 2.5p at max. My theory is this and it may be stupid and nonsensical. If the majority of my shares (and I am in for just shy of £20k which is not a fortune but it is significant enough for me as a PI ) are priced at 2p and P1 is a duster then the SP is so low that I think within 3-5 years it stands a good chance of at least recovering to that amount with the other assets and oilfields they are drilling if the Caribbean is a sea of dust and the share price goes down to say 1.5p or even lower. Therefore this period of uncertainty is what I expect. I think BPC and the BOD have bought CERP and their tangible assets as a backstop in case of a failure in the Bahamas. Bascially it is plan b along with the other fields in the portfolio. So in the worst case scenario if the price is as it is I would recommend a strong buy because I believe it will recover to the level of 2p if the Bahamas Oil fields are a total failure within 3-5 years. Secondly, I have watched a lot of videos and I am of the belief that they will be successful. At what level I do not know. I don't believe L Koot would have sold his shareholders up the river without a paddle on a hunch the man is no fool. I could be wrong he could be a Charleton as the BOD may all be but my gut feeling is they truly believe there are substantial amounts of recoverable oil and gas in the Bahamas oil fields. If this is the case then I can see the SP being a 10 bagger and the SP jumping to around 24p or mid '20s. There is more than one oil field so the likelihood is there is further oil in theses other fields. If they announce this along with interest from a major or other promising news then the share price may go to as high as 40p. So like I say, it is a risk but I don't think the risk is as big as some of those on this BB are making out. Look at the big picture for LTH and as the SP is so low it may be a blessing and a time to make money before the "lid comes of the steam cooker" ! GLA and DYOR. Have a great weekend GG.
