RE: Divs and Reduced Risk, Really?29 Nov 2020 21:02
I bought into Amigo recently and sold on the Rns last week. I really don’t think it was a positive RNS if read carefully. I may well invest again in future as I do believe Amigo has a stand alone product and now has a good board with a proven CEO. This is no more than a punt at this time and the odds are even at best, hence the reason it’s a penny share. The debt is massive, the company is currently not offering any new lending and has to deal with huge issues with the Fca and nobody but the board truly know the extent of the claims against Amigo. That said, I will probably take a PUNT again for a lesser amount than I originally invested Even though it’s at a slightly higher price as I would be prepared to lose the lot. Anyone new investing here has to be prepared to spunk all their money. This is no more than a PUNT, until further clarification on the financial position. I think the investment from the CEO is no more than a show of steel. 50k is not going to damage his wealth and he has to show faith, don’t be fooled by this it’s loose change in his back pocket. That said this could be a 10 bagger if he can pull it off again. GLA
