Totally agree with you. What is the purpose of this additional funding? It is less than two weeks before the drill commences in the Bahamas which basically is our make or break. Forget Cerp. If P1 is a duster the share price is worthless. The timing is all wrong and smacks of either poor judgement or desperation. Why didnt Potter just wait until the SP was higher and why is he so desperate for another £20m now when really we are on the brink of a make or break drill. It really lacks confidence in the outcome of the drill or the outcome of the judicial review or both. Timing is awful.

What I cant get my head round is - why would Potter ask for £20 m and offer hundreds of millions of shares at 2p instead of waiting for 4 weeks when the SP would have maybe been about 6p ( assuming the injunction has been thrown out ) and then said you can buy the shares at 3p or 4p. To me the timing seems really poor. To me its such a bad deal for the company and he effectively is giving the shares away at such a **** price of 2p. 1. Are we that desperate for £20m that we couldnt wait for a few weeks to negotiate a far better rate 2. Does Potter and co know the injuction is going to be delay or postpone the forthcoming drill ? 3. Is this the last chance or rinsing the last bit of cash out. Either Potter & Uliel know its a duster or the greeenpeace brigade may have a chance with injunction or they just cant negotiate. FFS it would have been easier and more beneficial going on Dragons Den !!

Investinvalue, Hope you are right but cant see this going anywhere near the price rises of Gulf Keystone or Rockhopper unless they hit oil hugely above even BPC best expectations. The reason is the share dilution. Both of the companies you mention had substantially fewer shares in issue. We have billions they had millions. It would take a middle east size discovery for us to go anywhere near the two oil companies you have mentioned IMHO but hope you are right and I am wrong !

This SP Is considerably undervalued. Debt free, Massive order book, sold off unprofitable part of the business, returning to profitability after restructure. Should be £2.00 all day long.

Why would this person devote so much of their time continually criticizing BPC? Either paid to do so or has serious mental health issues. Yes I have done extensive research since asking this question and have invested considerably in this share since. This is probably the highest investment in my portfolio now. I have contacted contacts within the Construction industry who's opinion I respect and carried out extensive research through other learning resources since my initial question. I believe the SP will increase but this is very much dependent on RNS news and confirmation the company is back in profit. Thats because there is no injunction. Why do you think the SP has stopped falling and has started to suddenly start going up again ! Its not on sentiment.

Kevin 55 - the advocate has a duty to his client to outline the pros and cons of the argument the plaintiff will be making. The defendant is the government. I hope the plaintiff has deep pockets because the government will surely have. The SP Is suffering as a result of these complaints and threats. This is a great time to buy in for anyone who has previously bought shares over 3p. Personally I will be buying in if it drops to around 2.3p. I am pretty sure BPC has all fulfilled all legal and contractual obligations.

Great post Hemo 1. Glad Mr Potter is fighting back and not taking any of this baloney. Its all from a few very rich self motivated hoteliers and property owners. If we find oil, it will transform the Bahamas into a caribbean Norway and pay off all debt whilst creating a fabulous sovereign fund that will pay for the Bahamas infrastructure for the next 30 years.

A simple question to the BPC bulletin board. Name three things to happen between now and the drillbit going into the seabed that will make this share price to rise significantly. At the moment it is losing value and if anything this is going to be 2p by the time we do the drill not 7p as most shareholders on here predicted. Sensible answers please.

BPC announce on 7th February 2021 that they have made commercial oil discoveries of 1.1bn barrels of commercially recoverable oil P1 drill alone. This is worth billions of revenue to the Bahamas Soverign fund. BPC announce they are confident that they will find oil in other sectors of their licences in the Bahamas that could be worth additional billions of pounds of revenue in royalty rights to the Bahamas Government. What do you think the government and the people are going to say " Oh shut it down we dont need the money, we know there's billions of £'s of oil in our waters that could totally transform the economy for the next 15 years but we dont want that because a few environmentalists and rich hotel owners are protesting against it. GET REAL.

Ross - Rather than the term pre-spud I meant to say Pre-results. Personally I'm in for the whole ride. I'm 53 and can't be arsed with a few grand profits. I missed out on a life-changing share when I was 46 and cashed out far too early I'm not letting that happen again. Good luck with whatever you decide.
