I dont know about finding oil it would be nice to find an employee of Bahamas Petroleum Company PLC who could answer the phone at their " Head Office ".

This is to everyone. I am looking for a very simple answer to a very simple question.
When I contacted the Bahamas Petroleum Company PLC head office based in the Isle of Man why did nobody know who answered know who Bahamas Petroleum Company was and secondly it was quite obvious a virtual office answered by a virtual secretary for a host of companies who knew nothing about the company. I would have thought a company with a market capital with £95m would have a UK office and not a virtual office.

It would be interesting on this bulletin board to hear from someone like co man or anyone who has extensive experience of working in the oil exploration industry their comments on the above.

IRENE - A simple question for you.
If BPC issue a statement in January confirming that drills on P1 have been as successful as expected and the oil is recoverable and commercially viable and P1 holds between 750m - 1bn barrels of oil what price do you think the share price will be on this news. Please don't hit me with any technicalities just confirm what you believe the sp will be in the best-case scenario for BPC on P1 on the issuing of an RNS stating the above.

ZacEgypt - talk is cheap. Eytan, Simon and Leo can talk all day and complete slick presentation after slick presentation but at the end of the day its simply down to results. This is why the SP is not moving. The markets and institutions are simply saying "show us the goods". Once they do the share price will move North. Lets face it at the moment BPC really doesnt have anything to show except potential. That said there is a LOT of potential! Dont expect the SP to move on a presentation or even an RNS its all down to the success of the drill on P1 and ensuring no futher dilution of shares in the meantime.

Interestking - Looking forward to Langans 2021. To Donald Trump and Harel let’s not be pedantic over terminology. When posters say ‘ post spud ‘ you know we all mean results of a successful drill. I am pretty confident an RNS From Bpc will outline all that.

Starchild - Your post today at 11.21am is one of the best posts I’ve read on this BB. I suggested 5.75p for the pre-spud price and you are not a million miles away in your estimation. I don’t think markets will fully enthuse or take the risk with this share pre-spud therefore the SP will be realistic and I too have erred on the side of caution. The Malcy interview is a fascinating insight into how the markets could make the SP fly if the spud is as successful as Potter and Koot have predicted. In the interview it is stated that this would be a “ monster “ discovery and the institutions would jump on it. He said that all the stars were now aligning for BPC and he stated we now have a first class board of directors. Malcy was quite disparaging over the Cerp BOD. If all does go well everyone on here could be seriously underestimating the hike in the SP on a successful spud. The rise could shock us all. I believe no one has considered Market momentum and it could rise way above what predictions have been already stated on here. I am only summarising what has been already stated in the interview from someone with far more knowledge of the oil and gas markets than probably most of us all on here. Final thing is Starchild rightly states very importantly that this is a very high risk share and be prepared to lose everything. Very very exciting.

"Does anyone honestly think Potter would have sold the company to Koot if he was not certain that Oil would be there". Meant to say Does anyone believe Potter would have sold the company to Koot to buy in to the BPC project if oil had already been discovered or he was 100% certain it was there and recoverable. He would not have looked twice at Koot or been the slightest bit interested in CERP if this was the case. Potter has used Koot as an insurance policy and Koot is happy to take the risk on behalf of his shareholders as he believes there is recoverable oil. Its a gamble for all parties and no oil and CERP shareholders have a right to be very angry with their board. If its success L Koot is going to look like a hero. Simple as that.

Rocket: "if it’s not oil I will maybe come out with no loss but if it is oil there God bless Bahamas" - Irene I know you are a constant deramper and very negative about this stock. I dont know you bother posting on here. Maybe you are a daytrader that benefits from swings back and forth. I respect your opinion as I do everyone else. In the end it all comes down to the success of the drill on Perservance 1. I know that, you know that, Koot and Potter know that, the market makers know that. Everthing else is a sideshow. Cerp has been bought as a backstop, a plan B. Does anyone honestly think Potter would have sold the company to Koot if he was not certain that Oil would be there. I am convinced ( maybe naively ) he does believe oil is there but he has still used the Cerp as a plan b or leveraging for future finance. So going back to my original point and as Rocket stated " IT IS ALL DOWN TO THE OIL IN P1 " everything else is just a poor supporting act.

This Share is the bargain of the century. Think about it logically. The government issue a government-backed, government supported and fully funded business loan with no risk to the Lender Natwest. In addition low deposits for mortgages. The stock is supported by the government and part government owned. All investors have to do here is just stay patient and dont panic. This is a £1.75 stock all day long.

Hi Rocket, I think you and I are exactly on the same page. I cannot be bothered with the risk of trying to chip a few grand on a day trade and get caught out as it rises. Ive bought in at a rate around 2.4 in the last few months which I think is a reasonable rate for this stock. As Rocket said its all about the oil. The continual dilution has dismayed me but to the honest what does BPC actually have to leverage other than issuing billions of shares and praying investors buy into the plan. The dont have an alternative. The bottom line is its all down to the oil and the success of P1. If its a "company maker" as Mr Potter alludes to then this SP is the bargain of the century and the current SP is massively undervalued. We shall see.

oil worker post -Just read this post and ignore everything else. “ Worth a gamble but be prepared to lose it all but could be life changing”. If BPC do strike oil at estimated recoverable quantities it will be a company maker as Mr Potter said in his last presentation but as the old sage oil worker posted “ Be prepared to lie it all”. I don’t about you but in these dark Covid days isn’t this exciting. We should all meet up in the Bahamas or London if this is a “ company maker “ and raise a drink to Messrs Potter, Koot et al.
