3.43% Down today - topped up again, this is easy. Buy on the dips and keep in long term. RR is massively underpriced. I'm averaging £1 and have a 6 figure position. Looking forward to drawing down on my retirement ( God willing ) in 2027. Very confident this will be £2.50 - £3.00 by then. Everything is in place for RR. All in my own opinion : GG

This is always the worry with AIM Lifestyle companies. There are a lot of AIM companies who are basically gloried Ponzi schemes and I know as I have had my fingers well and truly burned recently investing in shell companies masquerading as PLC Companies wanting to play in the big boy league. That said I do think Velocys is genuine player with a very well qualified, competent and conciensus Board of Directors who have shareholders interests at stake and not just use as a cash cow for their lifestyle. My main concern with Velocys is the funding going forward. I appreciate they have won Grants from the UK government for the Green skies initiative https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/green-fuels-green-skies-gfgs-competition/green-fuels-green-skies-gfgs-competition-winners and have won a US grant for their plant in Bayou but I just hope we dont see share dilution after share dilution until the company becomes eventually profitable which will probably not be until 2028 when full production starts. I would welcome any comments on this. I think this is one of the best BB on LSE as the comments appear always even handed and there are no made rampers or derampers with their own self interests at heart. Long may it continue. Do NOT repeat NOT invest in any companies run or who have affiliations with Leo Koot, Simon Potter or Eytan Uliel - These men are not only inept but they simply dont have the capability to direct the affairs of public limited companies where the public invest their money. Veloycs main competitors in the UK are LanzaJet who are a private company and also have a a deal with British Airways and Shell ( 133 employees ) , Nova Pangaea technologies. Worldwide the main player appears to be Fulcrum who have huge investment and funding. I think at this early stage my independent research tells me that Lanzatech and Fulcrum are the biggest players in SAF. I don't discount the fact that companies like RR and even the Chinese may be working on technologies similar to that of Velocys. The market is absolutely huge and this share price could absolutely sour once production starts and new contracts are won. The key is long term contracts with Major fuel producers in this matter I am unaware of a partnership Velocys has with a fuel producer similar to the one Lanzatech has but I am digging deep. The board of directors at Velocys is very strong and on comparable terms with its competitors. I foresee exciting times ahead. for Velocys and whilst urging do you own research I think the current sp is undervalued. GG.

There may be a dead cat bounce but effectively the company is ****ed whatever way you look at it. It should be the ambulance chasers who get penalised and oh all those people out there that take loans but can't be arsed paying them back. Why would anyone who took an Amigo loan out now pays it back. I don't think Amigo has the funds to pursue the debt or pay the court fees and any bailiffs working for Amigo would almost certainly want an upfront payment! Alll in my own opinion : GG

I am happy to see it go right down to £1 and I will dive in again. Anything under £1.10 and I am lumping on it again. This is easy money just buy on the dips and then a long term hold. This is my pension pot God willing. In 5 years this share will be £3.00 + easy. 7 years £5.00 and 10 years £7.00 + Without a doubt. GG

Jono44 - Ive only bought into VLS recently I'm averaging around 7.6p but intent to buy more. Im not too bothered if it drops as I will top up. This is very much a long term share. It may spike now and again up to 10p or 12p but will probably fall back again until it starts in earnest in which I can see a steady rise. Im building up a position to keep in for the next 5-10 years. Best of luck for the future ; GG

Hi Jono44, Read your posts with interest on that dog of a share CEG. What are your thoughts on Velocys. What truly excites me about this company is the IP's and patents and the developing market. I am not familiar with this market but from the research, I have carried out it looks like an exciting share to be in and very much a long term hold. The calibre of the board look a world apart from the rabble in CEG yet it is an AIM Share. Would be very interested to find out your interest in here. This share is so slow, IAG and Tui go flying up and RR with so many irons in the fire just puddles along. I am going to put in the bottom drawer and lock away now. # boredwiththisshare.

Expatbrat: Dividends and cash distributions? They can barely keep the lights on! Veloso's has entered into long term partnership's albeit they are at a very early stage with British Airways ( IAG Group ) and South West Airlines in the USA. They are building a new factory in the UK. What I'm impressed with most apart from all the technology and IP rights is the quality and calibre of the Board of Directors and the transparency. Personally, I think this is a great long term buy but it is a LONG TERM investment. It may spike in 2022 but the real money will be in a 5 - 10 year hold. Probably be bought out by a major fuel company in the next 5 years . GG

Leo Koot received £427,382 in salary from Columbas Energy PLC. The vast majority for "loss of office". So in summary Koot sold Simon Potter and Bahamas Petroleum company an absolute dog of a company in Columbas Petroleum PLC that was making losses and not producing any oil for millions and then took over £427,382 in personal salary. When there was no oil in the Bahamas he ran off to the sunset as fast as he could because he knew BPC shareholders had paid tens of millions for basically nothing. Talk about a slippery fish. In summary, Koot looks after one person only and that is Leo Koot. Anyone stupid enough to do business with him deserves to be instantly dismissed. He spanked Potter and Uliel's arses and is probably laughing now. Potter and Uliel are just incompetent at best and should not be running their local football teams let alone a Public Limited company. All views are in my own opinion. Still 96% down and wishing I never heard of this circus run by clowns - Anyone supporting them or posting positive remarks about them should be ashamed of themselves for their stupidity. GG.

I found this company from the RR bulletin board. Having done some research into the company and the products and the emerging markets feel this is a great long term hold and a strong buy. The big thing is to turn all the technology developed into solid profits in what will inevitably be a very competitive future market. What I like A LOT about Velocys is the strength of the board of directors. Having read their individual profiles I am extremely impressed by the calibre, expertise and qualifications of the directors running this company. As I have found out to my costs on AIM stocks there are a lot of lifestyle companies run by so-called "reputable" company directors who basically suck the bones out of private investors. I am sure this is not the case with Velocys and their intention is to put all the patents and innovative products into significant profits and future shareholder value. Good luck everyone. GG

SS17; "Someone at RR board mentioned this." I also saw this share on the RR board as I am balls deep in RR and this share was recommended. After some research, it does look very interesting. I am going to build up a position in this share. I can see Velocys being the subject of a takeover as the IP's and the technology look first class. Cannot believe anyone would want to sell RR shares. It is an incredibly great value. Look at the director buys in December, all the recent positive news about new contracts, amalgamations with Qatar, multi-billion pounds of new contracts civil and military aerospace, small nuclear reactors which will be all over the world in the next 10-15 years, green energy in which RR leads the way. In addition to all of the above, the BOD has streamlined costs to reduce debt. Hold and buy on the dips. Kicking myself for not topping up at £1.08 well done to anyone who did. Easy money. GG

I'm interested in buying into Lamprell due to the fact that they are massively into renewables which is the future and the company claim to be on a redress. I have reviewed the latest accounts and looked at the fundamentals and my main questions which I would hope LTH could possibly answer are these. 1. When was the last time the company made profits ( I have looked at the fundamentals going back to 2016 and I see year after year of losses? 2. The balance sheet appears to have weakened considerably since 2016 the liabilities have increased, cash at the bank has noticeably decreased yet assets have not increased in proportion, which I could understand if the monies had been used for investment but this does not appear to be the case? The question is where has all the money gone? 3. The company has stated it needs funding to address the balance sheet. Is there a chance of a rights issue? 4. Am I correct in assuming the next interims are due in mid-January 2022? 5. What is the opinion of LTH of the current management structure and board. Is this another AIM lifestyle company or a genuine company that has got into a hole but are now turning the company? Much appreciate it if anyone can shed any light on this company as this company has caught my eye and I'm just wondering if the share has bottomed with a rise in 2022 due? GG

SRoddy: Great post my friend. I was blindsided by greed as most of us were here. The thing that sticks in my throat here the most about BPC/CEG is that in my opinion they continually misled shareholders for about 6 months prior to investment. The quality of the RNS and issues on funding and other matters was reprehensible. They showed complete disrespect and I am of the personal opinion that Potter, Uliel and the BOD had contempt for the owners. This was a great but extremely costly investment lesson in the world of AIM stocks. Get in and get out when you have made a profit and don't get greedy. GG.

I'm in here balls deep as I have great faith in the company but we all called it wrong for this year. What is everyone's prediction for December 25th 2022?
