You could be right, Rich. Shareholders have certainly not enjoyed much success since Kenton Jarvis took over. The only people making money here are traders who get their timing right. Not easy! A buyback would help and I'd certainly welcome an interim dividend but I'll not hold my breath. Maybe our only hope is for Putin's alleged terminal illness to take effect!

Sounds like you've given up on UK PLC, Carrington and I can see why! Ironically the stock market is holding up reasonably well, including Melrose, which I feel is still under valued. I might hang on to see if it will break £6. Probably regret it! I've heard Starmer's going to have another go at welfare cuts which is no doubt why he drafted in Darren Jones who's gained a reputation for being tough on ministerial colleagues seeking large handouts, when at the Treasury. If he succeeds it could positively affect the fiscal black hole and help reduce bond yields. You never know! Wizz is in a completely different place to Jet2 as it reorganises its operation away from the ME more towards Eastern Europe (and maybe Ukraine if Putin relents,which he's making noises about) whilst also ramping up capacity as more grounded planes come back into service. Jet2's gloom today is a red herring as far as Wizz is concerned.

Unfortunately, EZJ is continuing its slide below 480 even as Wizz and IAG try to recover. As I've said before, there's seemingly market forces working against EZJ and it just doesn't change despite, I suspect, the actual business currently making really good profit. Maybe our best hope for a return here is for EZJ to be bought out. Come on IAG!
