Clearly the market is entirely unimpressed by Nick Walker's appointment. We need to know who the S&P 500 partner is to put some meat on the bones and give this at least a chance of moving up, even a bit! Is AFC ever going to deliver for long suffering shareholders? I wonder how Johnboy and other big holders, sleep at night. It's certainly been one truly awful investment for most who were foolish enough to invest here based on the previous CEO's lies. The progress under the new management is glacial at best but I take a crumb of comfort from the fact that the CEO and Chairman have stuck a decent amount of their own Dosh in here.

Price action this morning. Is it to do with the drone incursion into Romania, I wonder? Looks like this is turning into a very long-term hold! Disappointing.

Just had a look on Flight radar 24. There are currently circa 120 Wizz aircraft in the air travelling between many European airports. That's encouraging especially when you think of all the money they're making! This company is way undervalued!

But if you think about it, why would folks not fly from Southampton to Glasgow, given the cost and time involved in choosing an alternative? (train or bus) Get to Glasgow in around an hour or spend the most of the day travelling to arrive 8 hours later. Which would you chose? Hmm! Barring another black swan event, air travel is only going one way i.e. up and in some countries (Sweden) they've even realised the folly of APD and removed it. If only our daft chancellor would do the same!

Pausing peace talks! I guess that's why we've dropped. I guess our only hope is that nature takes it's course with Putin. Depressing times!

I was contemplating selling everything a while back, bobbins but ever the optimist, I didn't! It just seems to be negative news upon negative news on the macro front. The Ukraine war continues to get worse as does the ME situation and then there's this awful government mismanaging the economy. It just feels hopeless ATM! At least Pru is up!

The SP today is more or less where it was at the IPO having spiked up in the 2015 to 2019 era. It really is an atrocious investment and is showing no signs of life even as it increases profits. I'm guessing most punters are underwater here, praying for a miracle. I know I am. If I live long enough I might get out with a small profit but who knows? Maybe it's best to take a hit and move on! The BOD are clearly completely hopeless at looking after shareholders' interests.

There'll be no news on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday.... We're all finally trapped in here waiting for a miracle. I guess it was always destined to end this way as if we're being honest with ourselves, this company was set up to enrich its directors on the back of gullible investors sucked in by the green energy agenda, which is now rapidly unraveling. The main benefactor here was the criminal, Bond.

I intend to hold here now and I agree, £15 feels achievable in the short to medium term, James. Asia with it's burgeoning middle classes and particularly Africa with it's increasing population have to be growth markets for Pru. Good luck in any case and looking forward to getting to £15 a share and more. 🍀

Such depressing price action. Just when you think it might recover a bit, back down it goes! It's now clear that demand is greater than supply in the aviation industry partly due to the slow delivery of new aircraft so the market just needs to accept that fact with more realistic valuations of airlines. I'm sick of being short changed by the overly pessimistic narrative propagated by hedge funds and shorters. Time for normalcy to return to airline stocks.

This is starting to remind me of AFC when Adam Bond, the CEO, was promising the earth (lying) which never came. It's still operating just about but Bond is gone with a large wedge as he was vastly over paid. Never bought any shares either. Ok, ITM are solvent and can last a long time without coming back to the market for funds but the growing silence here is concerning.

I guess it's because David Nugent is an unknown entity and therefore his recent purchases do not inspire confidence that he either has a plan or even knows what he's doing or why he's doing it. He's maybe just taking a punt, albeit a big one, just like the rest of us. This has been one huge disappointment given the break through nature of the genomic testing equipment on offer. Why it's not flying off the shelves I have no idea. The NHS obviously doesn't mind creating deaf infants or compromising a significant number of ischemic stroke sufferers by prescribing them ineffective medication! Bizarre!

The Poland situation I believe, on reflection, is being deliberately overblown by the media and European players probably to pressure Trump. I mean why would Russia deliberately attack Poland a NATO member when their hands are ful with Ukraine? Unfortunately, airlines are suffering as a result. I guess they're crossfire in the propaganda war. Maybe this is a prelude to more serious peace talks. I guess one can dream!
