Looking at the last 3 years it's done absolutely nothing apart from spike up and down from the mid to high 500s to the mid to low 400s, Xhita. Quite a depressing chart actually. The trend line is more or less flat! It's clearly being held back by the market for whatever reason. O'Leary was saying a few years ago that it would be a takeover target for IAG. Maybe that's the plan and why the price is being kept low. It must be vulnerable at current levels and who knows maybe JP Morgan's intervention yesterday is part of that strategy. They certainly succeeded in bringing the price down to takeover territory! It all stinks imo!

One wouldn't have reasonably considered the SP to be overly toppy at around £5 so the recent drop off was surprising to me given that it's highly likely that EZJ have made huge profits during the busy summer season so why the big drop? I'd say it was unexpected, certainly by me!

Thanks Rich and Xhita for supplying at least a bit of hope that the SP might improve in time. One just prays that the November results will show improving profits and a positive outlook for 2026 and that that leads to a more favourable SP. It really is a soul destroying experience holding here. I guess the strategy, with a bagful of hindsight, would've been to sell on any profits made and buy back in on the inevitable retrace. At one point I was up £5k but didn't take it thinking it was only getting going! And here we are again stuck in the mid 400s. Awful!

Think we'll be at these levels or lower for the foreseeable future. Air fares are lower, which helped keep inflation in check so that's not going to enhance profits. At one-time this seemed like a no brainer as it recovered from COVID but unfortunately the market has clearly turned against airlines, post COVID as the current shareprice shows. Not sure what to do now i.e. take a hit or wait it out but for how long? Could be years, especially if Starmer and Reeves get replaced by even more left wing nutters. This country is finished.

You got lucky sollers with the JP false downgrade (unless you work for them) but don't let it go to your head. This is worth £6 all day long with folks still flying in vast numbers, including holidays. Wages are still up more than inflation so there's money in abundance. The doom mongers will once again be proved wrong. And imagine if we got a ceasefire in Ukraine. Unlikely but not impossible. There's only so many Russians ready to die for Putin's folly.
