Yeah I'm ok Avocet but not happy with VOD the dog, obviously, especially after this morning's encouraging rise. It seems that VOD's secondary US listing always sets the shareprice, not the other way round. TBH I don't think this is going to recover unless it's bought out. Some entity could probably buy this for £1 a share and I wish they would. Meanwhile, they've gone completely quiet on all fronts. Margherita clearly has very limited PR capabilities, which does nothing for the shareprice.

Cheek is clearly failing to inform the market and investors contrary to his promises in December. He's clearly just another Budd in disguise or maybe even worse. Has he been sent to do a job? i.e. take GDR private!

That's true avocet. Futures well ahead today so let's see if VOD can haul its a** up a bit. If it drops back in a rising market that would be a concern.

Just flew on a 24 year old A319 with the usual complimentary bottle of water and horrible corn snack. (it stinks out the cabin) and the crew clearly inexperienced. I think the in flight service is a joke and not worth bothering with if that's the best they can do. Didn't the BOD promise and improved in flight service?! They certainly haven't delivered. This airline could be so much better if managed properly.

Friday's guesses all looking overly ambitious already. Vod really is going nowhere as the takeover rumour fades. It never fails to disappoint.

I really hope Cheek delivers here as I'm getting sick of Aim companies I've invested in teetering on going under or actually doing so, after their CEOs have promised investors the earth. It's so unscrupulous and I don't understand how they get away with it. Let's hope Cheek is different but looking at where we are at the moment, I doubt it, unfortunately! I'd love to be pleasantly surprised though. 🤞

Nice uptick into the close on NASDAQ, which augurs well for Monday. It's satisfying to see the SP out of the 60s and hopefully on track to a proper recovery.

There really is so little information out there about VOD. Maybe that's deliberate, whilst things are going on in the background, in readiness for a big announcement!

Clearly Cheek and the BOD have nothing to say, despite promises to the contrary. The disdain shown towards shareholders is an absolute disgrace. I have a horrible feeling that the intention is to take this private, leaving shareholders with a derisory cash settlement. The complete lack of communication is indicative of such an outcome. Hopefully I'm wrong but something clearly isn't right here.
