One wonders what happened to the 100kw unit that was allegedly tested and exceeded 100kw. See below from RNS March 2023, a year ago!

"New S+ Series fuel cell stacks exceeded the cumulative 100kW target output over validation period.

The milestone is the first of a two-stage development programme first announced November 2021 that will now see a modular 200kW high power fuel cell system scheduled for first operation later this year, which will be followed by product certification immediately thereafter. The state of the art 200kW hydrogen power generator unit (and battery system) will then be sold to ABB E-mobility."

All BS of course! They seem incapable of perfecting higher power density fuel cells or being honest. Think AlkaMem!

Great bit of summarising Daz. The ABB unit is so far behind I wouldn't be surprised if it never happens and as for the £27 million order book, it's a work of fiction. I fear this company will run out of money and go bust before break even and I suspect Dixon Clarke will be off soon to salvage his reputation. His demeanor listening to Bond waffle on, spoke volumes. Jim Gibson got out as he could see where this was going i.e. nowhere fast! It's all very disappointing but predictable with Bond running the show.

I watched the Q&A and am still none the wiser as to the genuine prospects of this company. The ABB 200KW unit is at best over a year away according to Bond so that's a big disappointment straight away. His staccato style of talking is very hard to follow and he tends to waffle. The contrast between Bond and Dixon Clarke was stark. Bond has done well out of AFC but the company needs a slicker more professional CEO to move it on. His poor performance on the Q&A is a major factor in the subsequent SP decline I believe. He needs to go. Simple!

At least he's arranged a more reasonable start time compared to last year. Not shying away this time. Maybe he's expecting some better news to land before 25th April! I mean if the hockey stick SP rise has still not materialised I don't see what Dixon Clarke can say to retrieve his credibility. As it stands both he and Bond have zero.

Meanwhile the SP drifts back down towards the mid teens. Great piece of work Adam! He's failed miserably so should be sacked along with his side kick, Dixon Clarke. A couple of clowns. 🤡

AFC is not a serious company. It's taken nearly 20 years to come up with the power towers now being acquired by Speedy. It's a far cry from what we were promised by way of AlkaMem containing high power density, alkaline fuel cells. Bond et al are just there for their own enrichment.

Another Aim disaster to add to my accruing tally. I fear the end is nigh here save for some miracle. Whatever sales have been achieved to date have not brought in enough revenue to even keep the lights on. It's all very disappointing. I think aim needs to be more closely regulated to prevent aim directors from getting rich at the expense of hard working private investors. It's a disgrace really.

So the £27 million of orders is a bit like the infamous 2021 statement telling investors of imminent orders. See below.

It was obvious that the 200kw unit was delayed but as you say Daz, no mention of that to shareholders. Bond's MO is not conducive to creating market trust in AFC's ability to deliver what it says it's going to hence the languishing shareprice.

I'm guessing Heliokon's short is still open?! Bond's pathetic attempt to get the SP pumping has fallen completely flat. He now needs to accept that times have changed. BS doesn't work anymore. It's all too little too late in my view, especially as the 200KW unit is nowhere near market ready. Why is that? I guess AFC will just be a purveyor of elaborate power towers, which may or may not be profitable!

Just got in so haven't seen the presentation but judging by the SP, the market is unimpressed. My early enthusiasm for yesterday's results was clearly misplaced, particularly the bit about £27 million of orders. I guess we all want to believe but I suspect Bond's credibility is holding this back as in the absence of facts and figures, few believe a word he says. With an income of less than £300k last year, his remuneration package is outrageous. Time for him to go?

It certainly reads very well Jim. The order book is impressive and it's great to read that the ABB unit is still a runner. It's definitely looking like AFC are finally about to deliver commercial success after many years of false dawns. Great to see and congratulations to all who held. Thanks for posting Jim. Fingers crossed for a more prosperous future as an AFC shareholder!

It would certainly be a great improvement Daz and it's definitely progress but for me the low power density is a worry. Space is very often at a premium on certain building sites so I just hope the generator's dimensions don't hinder its uptake. The large number of sells today suggest that the market is not yet convinced but of course this could change. I'm willing to wait a bit longer for sustained commercial success, which I believe will be linked to higher output units coming on stream.

Let's face it, Speedy hire is a poor substitute for ABB. That's the deal that would've moved AFC to the next level. Unfortunately, it's looking like it's hit the buffers. The SP can't even get above 20p so Haggis' ramping about average broker price targets, looks absurd. Something big needs to happen for that to be achieved.

I reckon some customers will choose easyJet over Ryanair due to concerns about Boeing's 737s, in particular the Maxs'. Michael O'Leary has already complained about the condition of some of their new Max deliveries (seat handles missing and tools found under the floor) implying that poor quality control is persisting at Boeing. I reckon EZJ load factors could soar even higher on the back of this ongoing situation with Boeing. £7 incoming!

Sorry construct, I didn't mean to be "off message" I momentarily forgot that it's only wholly positive comments about AFC permitted on here! I hope you weren't offended!

I think the initial enthusiasm over the 30kw units for Speedy has subsided causing the SP to stagnate or even drop back (it's down over 3% on Tradegate) I also think all the focus on the Speedy deal implies that development of the 200kw unit has stalled, which if so, is disappointing. They were supposed to be preparing to send it for CE approval testing last July so either that didn't happen or it didn't pass! We know not. Let's hope it makes an appearance soon though as it would definitely stimulate further interest and send the SP northward.

And he says he doesn't ramp! Lol

Wonder when AFC's market cap will return to £500 million? It'll be a very long time at this rate. What do you say haggis?
