They are clearly struggling to obtain a new loan facility, hence the derisory shareprice. This has been a terrible investment so far despite all the good news around contracts. Let's hope John Wood can finally get this show on the road in the very near future. The time for talking is over.

I get your point long but how long before the money is available? The prospect of watching this stagnate in the mid 60s for months, is quite depressing. Hopefully, the £2 billion from Spain will not be too far off though.

Nothing seems to change the sentiment towards VOD, robleo. If they can get their German market performing better then maybe results might surprise to the upside. As Vodafone's biggest market Germany must be their main focus to improve overall profitability. I must confess though, I'm very disillusioned with VOD and its CEO. She hasn't really followed up on recent events with any major PR effort to boost investor confidence, which is disappointing and detrimental to the SP, particularly when enthusiasm for VOD is so low.

I see haggis or some other board monitor got my perfectly reasonable post, given the amount of posting haggis does, removed very quickly. Someone on here seems to have a lot of influence with LSE! Wonder what the connection is?

This share is completely unloved with Citigroup dropping their price expectation by 10p to a measley 68p! But the CFO just bought big with absolutely no positive market reaction and I bet you the CFO is better placed than Citigroup to make a judgement on future value here. The market clearly has it in for VOD and TBH unless we get better news on the 3 merger I can't see a quick route out of this hole. It's all very disappointing and costly!

I don't think any substantial rise is imminent. The current market cap is probably priced right for the expected increase in revenue from the Speedy deal. If we got news on the 200KW unit going out to ABB, then yes, a re-rate could be in the offing but unfortunately that's gone awfully quiet. Just my view.

More should be made of the recent CFO's purchase. It is very odd that the market completely ignored its significance.
