Halfpenny, do you have a link? Great find if you have. My gripe would be that Scapa made the purchase announcement on the 18th of September 2018 and completed the purchase in October I believe, if this is the case than why have ConvaTec waited 8 months to deliver the cancellation? Perhaps they had spoken with Scapa and could not come to an agreement perhaps for a discount or something? What is strange though is that Scarpa state in the RNS that they have no idea why ConvaTec has cancelled the agreement. Stranger than that is that the director sold a ship load of shares around March time as did an ii only two weeks ago... did they know all along that negotiations were not going well? Finally I am now concerned that another 10 million worth of shares have hit the market potentially with yet another ii selling?? And there I was thinking I had a great entry point.

23 Million revnue does not equal a 47% drop, especially if they can recover what would have been the lost profit as a settlement deal.

ConvaTec's revenue is 30 million per annum which is barely 10% of Scarpa's turnover so why this has resulted in a drop of 45% is beyond me? I would suggest over sold.

My only thought on this at the moment is that there must be a big seller out there? We cant continue to drop like this can we?

Time to see some results coming through, 5 new Directors in the last 12 months bringing with them a wealth of knowledge from companies including Legal & General and Zurich, I would like to think these new Directors will help develop the insurance arm with there 3 year fixed insurance deal as well as developing new SAGA products to role out.

Not sure there is something “nasty” as such... if there is then why on earth did the Directors buy in at around 60p if they knew this was going to drop. Been large volumes for weeks now in a downward trend until last Friday when we seemed to have found support, hopefully that was the turning point of what ever has been going on. Another few blue days next week would be good, great buy price imo.

No don’t get me wrong, I’m no expert at graphs but... the indicators - Chaikin Money Flow, On Balance Volume, the stability found at 42p and the blue ending on Friday all indicate to me that we might see change in direction and a few blue days next week giving back confidence to the market. Would love to see this back up to around 60p plus but I guess that all depends on sentiment. I also wonder if we might hear some news prior to the AGM?

11797 shares, my buy trade just topping up, wonder if that's written as a sell @42.1188p ?

Part of the ships have already been paid for, second payment is already included within the existing cash flow from memory, read the RNS.

Makes you wonder if all the after hours trades are shares that were purchased today by Pi's but not placed by the MM's knowing full well they would take the share price down, then put them through and pocket the difference. #Shorts..

Add Director buys in to that as well... I just dont understand the drop when cash on hand is 180 million and assets far outstrip the current Mcap.. ? anyone, sensible answers or is that to much to ask.

Setanta Asset Management Limited, Standard Life and Blackrock have all been increasing their stake in SAGA in the last 3 months.
