The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Picking up on Dubbs99 comment. VanVan can you elaborate on this please. Not sure I understand this bearing in mind finance will be needed to take this to production.
Clearly there is a risk that Companies like this could go “t*** up” and so the share price will be volatile. The foundations are amazing, no debt and NO pension liabilities, so it’s all down to the Directors managing the business properly. This is what we pay them big sums for except that a lot of Co Directors seem to forget that.
Patience or get out. Only two choices IMVHO!
Hi all
There is absolutely no need for II’s to get involved here. The whole purpose of giving up a significant portion of our current wealth is for that purpose in particular. The new contractor can raise funds without the extortive rates applied to minnows like us.
Onwards we go. SB/GA

Any one here got a grip on the potential payout value of Aviva Policies under scrutiny by the courts due to be decided at the end of this month?
370,000 policy holders with all these insurers is a lot of dosh to pay out of the courts go in favour of the claimants.
Hi johnpwh
Interesting way of putting it.
A lot of patience required here, however I like to think that any downside here will be caused by pi’s looking for short term gains elsewhere. IMHO the market cap is still on the low side and will eventually rerate when further news is forthcoming.
I like some others here have an emotional attachment, justifiable in ones mind because we believe the management here are as “honest” as they come, which is not necessarily a good thing from a wealth creation aspect.
Like the CV. She has a proven track record to shake this lot up good n proper.
I hope she does what she she says. Go go go.
Hi all
Yes a much better interview. A question I want answering is “will any of the current development spends be recoverable from the new partner”? Seems strange that this expenditure enhances the valuation of the MOU.
Maybe “indicative” is the wrong word. I certainly mean “more positive data”.
Hi M20ASH. Yes I get that now. So Proccea contribution, which is mentioned, to get their 23.5% has a value assigned which has not been declared to us in the MOU. Presumably it lies somewhere north of $5m!
Thanks for getting me to read the original MOU more carefully.
IMHO, once indicative resources are identified at Salinbas, I can imagine Ariana exiting Turkey with a packet of dosh which it will use to explore other regions that Kerim fancies.
Clarification please guys. Will we eventually hold 47% of this project as there is no Procea involvement?
Hi guys. Thanks for the really excellent posts under this heading. Well done and keep it coming.
Amazingly we have had nothing but good news after good news and the potential here just gets more exciting by the day. GA
Hi VV et al. Well a lot of sells, relative to recent trading pattern, absorbed this morning.
One issue I have is that a lot of emphasis has been placed by our boss on the repayment of the JV outstanding loan, yet we still have a debt of $8.5m. Even though we are becoming debt free, I think there has been a bit of overuse of the debt free comments. Yes we are paying off debt at a very healthy rate but we have debt until we have NO DEBT. Then and only then should this be really promoted. Just my take on this.
I do appreciate that the likes of us were always aware of all the finances, however it has been easy to forget that a bank loan does exist and has been fully drawn down.

If I could guarantee another ten years + of healthy living for me to enjoy the potential wealth creation that exists here, I would lock my shares away from selling temptation and totally ignore any of the short/medium term excitements that we are almost guaranteed to get.
All RNS’s are positive; what more can you ask for?
What I would miss is the informative posting on here.
Maybe I own these shares just for the day to day pleasures I get from following AAU. That perhaps adds more wealth and pleasure than the dream of becoming financially wealthy!
What’s Money if you are lucky enough to have a roof over your head, food, nice family and health.
Covid-19 makes us think about this. I just wonder if my wife will ever agree to going on holiday ever again.
Crikey, that’s a load of bull s*** I’ve just spouted.
He ho

Hi VanVan. To get more institutional involvement surely this would mean a placing of new shares at an undesirable low price. How else could it be done?
An “unknown” contractor taking all of the Turkey operation would be my solution to a short / medium term payout. Kerim now has elsewhere to keep him occupied.
Onwards we go and it cannot come quick enough as far as I am concerned.

On your point about gold being a safe haven, if you mean investing in gold shares look at the recent dip you will find all stocks and shares plummeted. Cash is the only safe haven so long as you never wish to purchase foreign currencies or goods from abroad. Who knows what is to become of our liquid wealth when the whole world is printing money like confetti.
IMVHO. Regarding share price movements here, the value of trades most of the year are totally insignificant in relation to the number of shares. The price is based a very small value trades. Try buying £50k worth and see if you get a price. The prices here are market makers prattling about for peanut sums. This share will move significantly very suddenly, catching all punters unawares, when an aggressive takeover bid or agreed sale happens. There will be no accumulation of shares by any intended serious investee because most of the shares are owned in piddly amounts by “US” pi’s.
Try reading the posts over the last two years from the “KEY” posters on this site and Inthink you will have a complete summary of this Company. To ask these guys to repeat things over and over again as they are quite willing to do, is unnecessary. This is not criticism, just a suggestion to help you. SB/GA
Hi M20ASH and VanVan
Thank you yet again for sharing your knowledge and judgement.
You make this chat room one of the best.
Keep well

Hi guys
I cannot find any current details of this Company from their web site. The last news item is dated 2013. They seem a large outfit, big enough to take on this latest proposal without a new partner.
I just don’t get it.
Can anyone shed some light on this please.
