Whilst Covid-19 impacts on all business, I would expect the completion of this deal to be delayed. However it may not affect the decision to proceed, rather to delay the Contractor’s parting of the funding.

Hi to all regular posters (you know who you are) that continually provide valuable inputs here.
IMVHO most small gold exploration companies get screwed at some time or other due to lack of funding. This opportunity, though some feel on giveaway terms, is not in that desperate category. We all think Kerim can take it or leave it as without it he will have a comfortable living from the current scenario. Some of you may know Kerim well enough to gauge his level of ambition. This plan allows him to move quickly in the medium term and that has to be the way forward. The much slower approach certainly does not satisfy an aged person like myself.... imo.
The only other hope is a full blooded aggressive t/o.
So I am fully behind this deal 100%, sooner the better!

Many thanks for the ideas. I do have Istanbul on my to do list. We are close to Luton and Stansted. I do enjoy Making flight arrangements etc. So planning the trip is not so much an issue. It’s identifying interesting and relaxing places to visit.
On the AAU front I have been invested here for some years, not big bucks, and like some other shares I have liked, I get emotionally attached which is not a clever idea.
I do remember about 10 years ago, a guy at some other AGM tipping AAU when they were 4p. He’s probably still waiting for this day to come again. Luckily I first came here a few years ago @ 1.25p.

As an old fart of 70 years, I am itching to get out of this lockdown and back on the holiday trail.
I know this chat room usually sticks to the important issues concerning AAU, which I am so grateful for, but I am beginning to think that planning a first trip to Turkey to be a good idea.
Any tips or suggestions anyone.

It would have been interesting to hear what hedging he may have taken out. Though some people think gold prices will go higher, with the world population becoming financially poorer I predict gold will continue to slump as demand for jewellery will drop like everything else.
There is no guaranteed safe haven.

Hi all. In basic words what I was trying to suggest was that with completion of the MOU was that the terms as described are now fixed to go ahead once legal docs are completed and the due diligence is completed. Therefore the presentation to the shareholders is already known. So if the due diligence outcome is positive then the three parties are ready to sign.

Really do not understand the first para of the latest rns. “ ......... following completion of the mou ...... “. Surely this wording is not quite right as the mou detail is not agreed .... or is it subject to completing the extended due diligence. Does this mean the terms of the deal are fixed now, if it goes ahead.

We own this Company. There are insignificant institutional holdings as far as I can see. Anything Kerim wants to do is surely dependant upon us endorsing it. Over so many years all the news has been positive. The share price is totally dependant on our share dealings which generally are based on pi’s mood swings most of the time.
Clearly there is an element of gambling at every news point, trying to make 10% here and there.
After this ramble, can I say thanks to the few regular posters here for their inputs.
Wonder if Kerim would enlighten us with the 9m sell which clearly has a matching buy somewhere.
This is an arranged deal probably resulting from a request some time ago.

I like the words “ the alternative group for ambitious brands”! It would be good if data could be produced to demonstrate how TMG marketing has impacted on particular businesses.

Despite some of the reservations about “possibly gifting” a majority stake in the Turkey assets, the deal has to happen. A negative sample would put a huge damper on the share price. Any positive sample result will be a no brainer for this deal to happen, which I think will only be announced at the same time as the proposed new party deal being agreed.
The current market cap is too low just for the Red Rabbit project on its own.

If this deal is thrown out, it has bid increase written all over it. This BoD have too much to lose and no appetite to continue as AMER. They will get a deal done with GeoPark at all costs.
