Never understood the voting system. Cannot see how it is practical to count all votes accurately and who does it ..... can you trust them? Then you get the show of hands at agmâs. None of it makes much sense to me. I am going to look at this scheme of arrangement just to establish whether my vote is based on number of shares. The non disclosure of the votes % at the last agm was an absolute disgrace.
Ages yet I think. Thought I would answer this myself having read the rns again.
Presumably sometime soon. Is it still time to buy voting shares?
If you do not need the cash to invest elsewhere, particularly in light of the political upheaval in UK, stay with it. Ultimately there can be no downside IMHO.
It is a great shame that RH is not on board!
Make them eat their words
Point just made on ADFVN. Agree
These will be bought at a premium by Geopark if they fear the vote is in the balance.
The sum of the parts, as described by JW at the agm, has a far greater value than this bid. I wish he had to justify this in person.
Part of their contractual obligations. Totally irrelevant.
Hi leas. It does say reserves estimating incorporating two new wells. Maybe this is ONGC year end accounting requirements.
From Stockboy ..... who lives on the iPad upstairs.
Thanks all for this evenings input ...... really professional .... well done.
I had a fair holding of ENQ a few years back, but got scared with the losses I was incurring. I am not in the stock at the moment as I concentrated on income with the RB. Added another 8000 today despite the spread. 83.4p.
AB and all you guys deserve success ..... good luck. SB
Can anyone here explain why, if AMER are worth letâs say 500m USD, why GTE have a mkt cap of 380m USD when their net asset value in the books is 1000m USD.
Surely GTE are hugely undervalued at 1.46CAD.
What is a s**** is a purchase of letâs say ÂŁ5k worth in my HL SIPP costs a minimum of ÂŁ100 in fees.
Does this stop participants talking to one another?
Funny that you pick GTEâs quarterly update day. Not sure where they get the funds to do this size of deal, however they are clearly intent on pursuing new growth opportunities in Columbia and Ecuador.
Do you think that AMER are paying 30% toward all overhead costs associated with CP-05?
What are AMER liable for?
Answers anyone?
It is difficult to guess these interims. My take is that re-organisations come at a short term cost.
The share price will depend on the statement about 2020 performance expectations which should be positive. Thatâs assuming itâs not too early to make bold statements.
It says the first five months have been mixed.
We shall see. OMHO
Ps I like this share for a long term investment, but all companies depend on skilled management and I know nothing about any of these guys.
I agree Roth1. My valuation is just making the point that value is clearly, as mgt see it, much higher than the bid of 17p.
Clearly the reserves update, being very professionally calculated under strict principles that have to be believed (!!!!!!!), show a Company value of $250m assuming CPO-5 P2 increase.
Add OBA value. Add PUT acreage. Add $45m cash.
It is a no brainer so long as POO remains viable and no political crisis occurs in Colombia.
However the sale does depend on acceptable offers.
Longgggggg termmmmmmm holders have, to put it in Oz terms, âNO WORRIESâ.
Buy buy buy

5m reduction since agm presentation. How come!
Sorry if this is already talked about.
What is going on.
Superb find jtd. We need something to keep up our spirits here whilst we wait for what is likely to feel like eternity.
