Small mining companies very often run out of cash before they realise any value from their assets. If KB doesn’t get a big investor in the near term the company is in trouble. Cash is king - not pie in the sky valuations.

Nothing in the RNS indicates any substantive talks with a investor. It might be argued that was not possible without the concession. Well they have the concession now and we are burning cash.

I’m not interested in what a BEM cheer leader thinks of the assets, I’m interested in what a big investor thinks of the assets. As it stands, we have no insight into that. KB needs to put up or shut up.

Share price is essentially cratering. The bidding up of the SP over the last few months was very fickle indeed. Sad, but true.

Very hollow RNS. The market will not respond to positive sentiment from the CEO. Until they see actual cash injection (JV, sale of an asset etc) they will only have dilution on their minds.

I have an even closer friend at Goldman Sachs and he said that Kurt is fed up to the back teeth of hearing about Kallak. Apparently he puts his fingers in ears when you try and talk to him about it.

The off loading continues - single digits on the horizon. Maybe Ibjj isn’t joking.

A proper evaluation of the value of the Kallak area would be helped immensely by a 3D seismic model that would leverage old drill data. This was a key milestone for BEM until the pandemic hit and they cancelled the necessary drilling campaign. Kallak development has been in cold storage for years and maybe that is why the market is not particularly excited by the concession.

Most AIM mining companies never make it to commercial production - it is fraught with difficulty. This where a CEO earns his money. KB better make some very clever moves in the next 12 months or the SP will be severely kicked.

Total distortion of what has happened in nearly every BEM trade.

The value of shares held by MMs in a AIM stock like BEM is always minimal. It has absolutely no relevance to the current BEM share price. Sells are being matched with buys. Fact. The price fell because people wanted out and they were able to take profit by taking a lower and lower price until we reached this current SP stability (and everybody who wanted to be - was out). Just look at the trade print outs of the last weeks trading.

If the share price was currently 40p this discussion wouldn't be happening. Coping mechanism to rationalise a misjudgment of the share price performance.

It doesn’t appear that way at all - you have just made that up - not that it makes any sense anyway. Just look at the trade reports and the trade type - the market makers are doing nothing other than matching.

As much as it might help as a coping mechanism, the SP is not being held back by nefarious forces, it is operating quite normally and quite normal things like news on the development of Kallak will help the ascent.

Starting this drivel again are we? There is absolutely nothing unusual about the trading of the last two day. People took profit and buyers are not willing to enter at a high price. People were trading the concession to a greater degree than people thought, including myself.

You did call it right. I genuinely thought low 20s would be a holding level from which any further good news would push the SP higher. I’m still surprised at the current SP, but ultimately I misread the market. Will be lucky to sustain double digits at this rate of decline.

There was one poster on here who claimed he had predicted the SP rise exactly right - he hadn’t - in the end he got it hopelessly wrong.

It was pointed out to him that post-concession there would need to be good reason for people to buy beyond a concession in hand i.e a compelling narrative about the development of the mine backed up actual action e.g drilling results, large investors.

He, and some others, couldn’t comprehend the importance of this and just assumed a very high SP would automatically follow. Some even mocked the idea that BEM was deficient in these areas.

The SP move was surprising. I never thought some of the silly numbers thrown about on here were ever realistic, but I thought low 20s was on the ball. In one respect the decision was a derisk - it keeps a double digit bottom on the SP rather than send it into orbit

There is no way that small shareholders can finance a full mine development. So either we get a JV = big SP jump or we have capital raise for more drilling and the results (likely later in the year / next year) if very positive = big SP jump. It is time for the CEO to earn his money either way.

Maybe the post-concession price move was the move from 5p to 15p. The much higher prices were being put about as givens when they obviously were not. I always thought a sustained 20p would at least be possible on this news, but it wasn’t to be.

Need some more news to keep the momentum going.

If you are trading you are selling to put it in something else. Plenty of market volatility because of Russia for traders to see all kinds of opportunities at the moment, plenty will be happy to take profit on this and jump into something else.

Soon find out how connected the two markets are. Whatever the Swedish market does the AIM trades will have to account for. Maybe the AIM is sitting on the sidelines for 5 minutes.

Announcement of a JV partner or positions being taken by large investors ought to consolidate a price. Surely that must a KB priority right now.

Swedens market will be the most accurate in reporting trades in time. The SP at their reopen will be the most important. Current AIM trades are not being reported at all - not sure what trades are even possible

The SP hasn’t changed because the trades have not been reported for the platforms to update. Market maker systems will be struggling to keep up, trade reports will be delayed all day .
