The supply of credit is going to tighten over the next 12 months as business reconciles itself with the energy prices. Have to hope there is wild card investor who will buck the trend.

Every time KB opens his mouth the SP takes the next leg down shortly after. This increased communication isn’t all it has been made out to be.

BEM has been a poor share for me. Managed to make a small profit on a relatively large investment over too long a period. Had ample opportunities to sell at much higher profit but misjudged the situation. Nobody to blame but myself.

I would never have AIM investments as anything other than money I would be willing to lose. What constitutes my pension is doing fairly well thanks.

No contradiction at all, chump. There is no interest in BEM as it stands. The SP is pitiful and the volumes laughable. Nobody has come forward with any significant investment. As they dilute the sh*t out of the share (which they will - it is AIM), the company will enter into the state most AIM companies enter - fit for breaking up at. Assets that are worth anything will be sold when the company is at its weakest. Just simple AIM probabilities.

If you don’t understand how repeated dilution puts AIM companies in a precarious position the. you have no understanding of the failure of the AIM itself.

The trading volumes are as concerning as the actual SP. With supposed world class assets the market shows little to no interest in the company. Dilution is the obvious next step. A buyer would see the precarious position the company is in and would make a fire sale offer

KB’s view is always about discussions that will hopefully happen in the future. None of the current assets have any serious money behind them. The company has become a dream that is extended by continual dilution. Peoples hopes extended by continually switching their focus to the asset that disappoints them the least.

All the issues will be stretched into the future in the traditional way - dilution.

He has to be bold with his proclamations after the post Kallak collapse of the share price. Of course, it is having no effect on the share price.

RNS similar to this have commonly increased the SP by quite significant amounts. There is every reason to believe the SP should be doing something more. It isn’t. The market is saying it is not interested in BEM.

Attach these results to another company and you could see a proportionally larger increase. BEM has a long history of delay, non-delivery and dilution.

An increase in SP associated with large volumes and a narrowing of the spread would indicate some market interest in the RNS. If it was sustained in a slow climb over the next few weeks it would confirm that interest.

Market interest is a function of volume, spread and price. The SP could be made negative on a few trades off the spread.

The ‘lacklustre’ RNS was required because the bedwetters were demanding more communication to calm their nerves. KB is now tied to kicking out that sort of RNS on a regular basis.

Todays drill results tell us nothing about the economic viability of the asset. The results are just good enough to warrant more drilling.

Kurt, you shouldn’t have listened to the bedwetters - your communication is best when it is infrequent.

The website will be updated with the latest drill results in the next few weeks / months. Whether they will add any actual value to the company is another thing.

Patience is required with BEM updates because nothing of any significance (that actually adds value or generates income) occurs with any speed or occurs at all (the typical replacement being aspirational power point slides).

A quarterly check of the website is often too frequent, sometimes a biannual check would be more appropriate.

If you have nothing to communicate what has the failure to communicate anything have to do communication skills? Should he just release regular ultra vapid updates to calm the emotions of some small investors?

The problem is that the company has not been operated in a way that creates news worthy progression. It is all vague hopes and ambitions about the assets they own. Some people have to believe he is in very serious talks with potential partners / buyers about Kallak. The delusion therefore has to be extended to that this is not being communicated because he is a poor communicator. Of course it isn’t that, he just isn’t as good an operator as some liked to believe.

In of itself he is doing nothing wrong by being silent. When has something significant to report he can be criticised for results in that report and how he communicates them.

He acknowledged criticism that he wasn’t communicating well enough. He shouldn’t have done that. The actual problem has been that the company hasn’t done anything that is worth communicating.

Kallak hasn’t been developed further (3D seismic etc). Drilling across the other assets has been hugely delayed. Finland is slow progress.

The silence was much better than vacuous platitudes about a bright future. The next update of any genuine significance will be the interpretation of the latest drilling results, maybe sometime this month. If that is a dud then it is best he goes back to silence for a few months until he has something significant to report.

My guess is that Kallak won’t be going anywhere in the near future. The other assets will give him something else to talk about in the meantime.

Quite easily. Any discussion about an offer being made to buy the asset would be significant to the share price and so would have to be made public. Why would you not know that?

And before you claim that isn’t the case, at least do the most basic of homework.

The idea that buyers for Kallak were lined up or were in discussion has been soundly put to bed. There is no cash coming in and there has been an interesting switch of focus to none Kallak investments. KB better hope he gets some very good news from the drilling this month or he is in even more trouble than he is already in.
