Factoring in discounting and applying tax are the fundamentals of investing.

So your number was pre tax with no diacounting

Currently the 460m therms of fully appraised gas from Marram is worth around £510m as of todays gas price of £1.11p and as breakeven is 35p per therm (data from original IPO presentation) that’s a profit of £349m approx just for gas production alone at Marram.

The profit calculation.

1. Do you apply any discounting? or are just do sale price- break even cost.

2. When you do more than break even, you pay tax

I said worst case you don't get storage, temporarily the stock may decline ( and recover)

If we do get storage we are assured the MOU is converted and we get equity investment at multiples to 7 e.g xe minimum. Hence 200pct.

I said even under this ultra Conservative scenario it is a buy. A no brainer.

Even under these crazy Conservative assumptions it makes sense even if pr of success is 20pct.
