Dfr who have 80pct of cascades seem to be struggling, strange director loans and market cap of 8m CAD.

Maybe DFR are willing to give a chunk of this to new 3rd party and also our share is probably > 20 pct ( if earn in is not complete).

Someone getting decent chunk of cascades and kalaka might be willing to pay a bit ( if DFR play ball)

Most explorers get destroyed at the financing stage. Knowing you have a partner who will not screw you at that point is valuable.

Given we do not have JORC hard to know but probably less.

The last asset was given for a circa 15m usd earn in for 80pct and that had 0.6m JORC.

I am hoping we do something more complex than straight sale and go for structured solutions.

In the future we might be cash rich, which is great for who ever takes the asset on. Being willing to fund the mine has huge value to the purchaser of kalaka ( and us).

Hopefully we can be inventive and through that get more value.

Btw there is a potential arbitrage on litigation capital management. Their book value is mark to market but some is still held at historical cost. These are australian class actions.

One thing if you held greenex currently at 20pct of claim. You might make 5x more, maybe less with risk of loosing.

For me, take your case out and roll into another case like PAT where you can make same with no digital risk. CEO even agreed taking money off table before decision is sensible.

I did a few days research, you can find other cases quite easily. Get the cash now and look for other cases. Better risk profile to 10x then invest for anothet 5 to 10x opportunity spreading gain over N stocks.

Not saying it is not worth 1.2bn plus at settlement, i just would never goto a digital decison with a big investment

150 is still fine for settlement for.my strategy of not holding to the end. Nothing is going to change my mind, because this is an asset class ( just roll your gain into new cases)..

For MB having cash could progress some assets in a strong gold price.

Also the market pricing in 15pct of claim is not something i make up. Look at green ex, prairie, gabriel resources. MB said something similar in Zak Mir interview.

There is no right or wrong here. All i would say is not everyone wants to hold for final decision. Especially if you have alot invested ( too much to gamble)

So really you are hoping for maybe 15pct of claim amount to be reflected before judgement ( that is historically what gets priced in).

It would be easier to put a price on it if we knew claim amount but we do not. If we think if is 2bn usd+ then i would like more, but we dont know how the valuation will work in end

If award is 1bn this might trade up to 15pct or 150m of award in 3yrs time befor judgement.

If you want to cash out before digital judgrment then getting money today is better.

There are chances of course that

A)claim is much larger

B) it trades up to higher implied probability

And also you can hold for judgement.

My view is 150 is certain, still a good gain and available now.

Any early settlement has to be priced as a good deal hence 150 to 200 max i think.

10 to 15x is really huge, you don't generally get rich off one investment it is a process. Take even 6x here and reinvest in next thing.

150 is simple.

1bn was quoted. Typical settlement is 40 to 50pct so 400 to 500.

150 is a number that is not difficult to push through. If you think 500m settlement that could be payoff from 1bn claim.

Of course we could have a higher number.

Just remember similar deposit de grey in australia trades for 1.2bn gbp.

My point is personal. A settlement at 10x market cap is great. Do i need to push for 15x or 20x to be happy. Not really.

So yup, personally i would cut a great deal for GOI to get it done. Settlements are negotiations, more you ask more they fight.

No need to knock this out the park. Also LCM in vast majority of their cases settle early.

Any deal we make has to be risk reducing for GOI.

Something like 150m to 200m usd might be achievable maybe i guess. Still huge return for us.

Huge amounts like 400 to 500m might be what you settle on at a tribunal...roll the dice for GOI.
