Ayecuramba, you'd think he has learned his lesson but things can and do go wrong. Let's hope it's not the case with these two wells. Still don't understand the importance of the pressure readings. One well sounds like it's similar to Casc1. The other however I'm unsure what the pressure reading means...? Does a lower pressure for Casc 3 mean it won't flow to the same degree? Thoughts?

God some people need to settle down. Without news this won't sustain any increase. You've got people on the sidelines playing with their 10%, which will always create a YoYo. Today will likely be weakness. Tomorrow is a question mark as there's a chance it will gain support from the 'I'd hate to be out of this over the weekend' brigade at end of day. What's highly likely is no news on Monday and this will sink back to the 1-1.1p range. Couldn't care less as I'm pretty much fully loaded here. If I get another chance around the 1p I'll buy more. If not, I can wait for news without whining or p!ssing my pants over a 10% sp pop one way or the other. Cue h@lfwits calling 'de-ramper' 'you're talking down the sp so you can get in cheaper', 'Troll' etc.

So much for fomo, however we're talking very tiny volume and probably not going to happen until next week (if at all pre-news).

One thing's for sure, PB really does need to deliver this time. Interview points to good news on the horizon. Consequences of delays / issues / failure are not great given track record and positive update last week. Not long to wait now. GLA

They'll need to do some sort of rns around the 17th to let the market know what he meant if flow rates aren't going to be provided. Either way it's less than 3 weeks for news (hopefully good).

Well said Mav. Nice to see one poster here talking sense. People need to calm down. The main thing you need to consider is your average, and those of the insiders. At the moment they're taking a lot of shares at 1.25p. Providing your average is below this level you're doing well. You can then decide if you want to average up / down at the current sp. For me it's slightly too high to keep buying. I'm a bit surprised by the relative strength at the moment. But at some point there will be a couple of 5-10% down days in the absence of news. Bed wetters will whine. Everyone else needs to consider whether it's a good entry point, and if so it will be back up to this level quite quickly. Often the sp of companies sits just below the placing price for a period of time before news lands. Our effective 'placing' price is 1.25p. Think of it like that. There's a 3-5x here depending on what news is dropped, and when. Funding complete will give this a massive shot in the arm. If followed a week or so after with another Beisa sized acquisition it's highly possible for a 5x here. Timing is key. GLA

surprised this is holding up after yesterday's jump. pis and mms will have a field day with this until news lands. i watched the interview again over the weekend and feel quite confident with my relatively large holding. i'll go again if we get any weakness back to 1p. at some point this is going to jump sharply. i don't see a slow climb at all. this is news driven. and we're talking huge news items for a micro-cap. we've already seen that it is on the herd's radar. expecting 2-3x on funding / acquisition. if the herd arrive en-masse and lose their **** it could be a 5x. that would be £80m, which seems reasonable if they add another beisa resource with non-dilutive funding. gonna be interesting few days if/when that rns lands. gla

Certainly hope so Super. Regarding Insti investment, I don't see this happening until mgt can clearly demonstrate a much better understanding of what appears to be a complex geology. Reckon another 6-8 on-target wells with an mcap at +£200m before anyone of note enters the fray. We're simply too small and risky. PIs on the other hand will easily take us to that level if they deliver. Look at joke companies like PANR. These guys got to many multiples of our mcap on resources alone. Did PB state in the interview he expects to update the market before the 14th or have I made that up?

I wonder if we're going to get any fomo this week... One thing's for sure and that's PB needs to deliver at / near projections. If not there will be a lot of questions over the TRIN foray and whether a lack of focus on Casc has caused the disappointment. The last RNS and interview points toward mgt feeling confident in these two wells. The pessimist in me says they could be priming the market for disappointing Casc 3 results i.e. 'gas volumes are low but we've learned a lot and there could be more oil reserves', or something along those lines. I have no idea what the pressure readings are telling us so happy to be corrected if Casc 3 looks promising - anyone more knowledgeable on these things care to add their thoughts? GLA

As I've said, the flip side of a chairman / director constantly posting on socials and doing interviews is we'll get coverage when news does land. These things can take a lot more time than many of you will be able to handle if you're complaining at this point. Relax.

People still wetting the bed I see. Yes there's potential for multi-bags, but only when we get news. Until then it's just the usual 10% movements of a micro cap. It is a good sign that we're forming a 1p bottom though. Not a lot of volume, but certainly points to some strong moves if / when we get news and multiple +100m volume days traded over a week or two. The biggest volume day was over 10% of mcap changing hands at current price. You get something like that happening on the back of good / great news and you're going to see a 2-3x in a day or two. strong words dhb. tell me, where do you see the sp going with 2 x 20-25 wells coming online (or 40-50 gross) in the next 2 weeks? i'm going with low to mid 40's. i'd be happy to see the 50's but just don't see the market giving us that kind of re-rate until we have another 2 x wells in the bag at similar flow rates, and with some information on decline rates for casc 2 & 3. i've got a lot riding on this share so very happy to be wrong. but give us your predictions so we can re-visit in a couple of weeks and decide who is the bull****ter based on reality.

dunder, i recognise your handle. not sure if from here or elsewhere over the years. i probably posted on iog getting an idea of what was going on and maybe even had a punt. it was on my watchlist and jumping all over the place years ago. can't remember. i've thrown money in and out of quite a few yoyos over the years. sometimes just for days. sadly i can't help myself sometimes. the latest biggish punt is neo :)

fwiw i see this as a relatively low risk investment (still aim though) given it's a producer of +5kboepd, has sunk infrastructure costs that appear to have been completed with little to no issues, has no geo-political risk, fixed $2 gas prices whilst in steep scale up phase, has very significant resources, plus very low debt if they can yield 20-25 per well. it's only the last part that needs to be filled-in. if they can demonstrate 20-25 per well this will be 60p by xmas imo. anything more would be great, but just don't see it happening until at least 6x wells have been completed at 20-25 flow rates. four will be done this year so not long to go. gla

Blast from the past. I took a look at IOG a few times. I don't recall ever taking a position. From memory everything went wrong on that one. Cannot see any similarities between IOG and here.

Agree with Johno that everything would have to go wrong across 4 wells, plus infrastructure, for anything like capitulation. And that's simply not going to happen. Worst case scenario is Casc 3 flow rates are poor and we have to wait for two more wells to come online before we break 40p. Casc 2 from what has been shared should be fine. I'm nervously looking forward to the next update. Downside is mid 20's with both wells seriously underwhelming. GLA

As I've said a number of times the size of resource is important, but not as important as grade, depth, AISC, capital required, time to build etc. We know none of that. For another acquisition to seriously move the sp it will need to be of a similar scale to Beisa. And by that I mean 2x. What will really move the sp is significant funding being secured and utilised to make the significant acquisition. And by that I mean 5x. The reason why this can explode is not the size of the resource, it's the claim that dilution will be insignificant, if at all, when growing and exploiting the resource. No point having 4m oz RESOURCE (not RESERVES), if you can't mine it profitably and constantly needing to raise and borrow. Just ask the dreamers over at HUM.

My advice, stop worrying about the daily movements and JBs social media f@rts. SP will go up and down by 5-10% very easily due to it being a highly speculative micro cap and easily manipulated (by investors and MMs). You got £250k traded yesterday and the sp YoYos by up to 20%.

This is highly speculative. But it's certainly one of the best I've seen for a while. Very exciting. I'm confident they will deliver on what has been said, but you folks with weaker constitutions need to brace yourself for weeks, maybe even months, of delays. GLA

Just over a week until news. Have to say I'm pretty nervous about it. Good news and we're into the low 40's. Bad and we're into the mid to high 20's. Average and we may jump a few pennies then need to wait a few more months for the next 2 wells. Let's hope for good, or better still, great.

Agree Kaeran. I'm confident that promises will be delivered. Too many people have made too many statements for things not to go ahead. Timing is the question. And so long as there's bed wetters, there will be ups and downs along the way. Right now there's more downward pressure with delays and associated loss of confidence.
