Gupta debacle is likely to be resolved and worst case scenario, quick fire sale to institutions will sort that out

Uskmouth is going to a call in and I don't see any reason why the Welsh Government would refuse it. Worst case scenario and they do, it's a big blow to the company but there's plenty other countries that will be happy for waste to energy projects like Uskmouth.

As for Meygen, not even a chance that the government will allow this to shut up shop. I love very close to the site, know employees at the base and at Nigg and the feeling is very positive.

There's whispers in the company of government funding coming but whether that will materialise anytime soon is yet to be seen.

I do think the SP will go lower but I also believe we will see one hell of a rerate on positive news

SP dropping is completely normal. Huge re rate coming on news. For anyone selling at these levels because they're worried Avacta won't deliver, it's your decision but you'll be kicking yourself very soon when we reaching ATHs

Do I think this is the bottom of the SP drop? Unfortunately not, I think with yesterday's news and the Gupta uncertainty it's inevitable we will drop further.

I see so much frustration on the posts here but I think many of you haven't been involved in pharma investments for very long. What we have seen during the pandemic is crazy spikes in the world of pharmas, especially any related to covid.

That's not how it works though, pharmas are for investing, not trading. It's not a sector to make a quick buck (although it happens), it takes years for companies to bring their pre clinical product to market.

For me, this is the long game. I'm not expecting huge rises anytime soon and I think those who are, maybe need a reality check

Very true, some will see this as a positive and others will be annoyed at a further placing and question why they need to raise money if they're potentially about to secure an incredibly lucrative deal.

I'm confident though

I think folk are seeing the minuscule numbers and are maybe put off. This is a long term hold, a few years time and we will see some clear revenue

Having the SP come down so much, it's definitely deresiked any potential sale by Sanjeev.

Ive added more over the past few days and will add more of it drops further. Almost impossible to catch the bottom but we can't be far away now

the SP will end up but I personally feel we are at the bottom or very close to it.

I believe this has been a major over reaction and the slightest hint of good news and we are flying again.

I fully expect Sanjeev Gupta to resolve the financing issue without having to sell up here. If!/when that happens expect a serious re rate.

We are due news of Uskmouth very soon. If theres further delays, that will affect the SP negatively but its important we dont miss out on seeing the woods for the trees.

There is nothing in any of the planning correspondence which would lead me to believe we won't get planning granted.

I do feel the £2m tranche would come in handy now, especially for reassurance to investors.

Bear in mind warrants to be executed at 30p....its in everyone's interests for the SP to rise.

My understanding is that it has to be below 5p on the 2nd tranche for 2 consecutive days and below 13p on the 3rd and 4th tranches for 2 consecutive days running.

There's no harm in having a constructive debate and no one will argue that the Sanjeev Gupta debacle is the reason the SP has fallen, but looking at it from another perspective, it's also de-risked a further drop.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing that I can see in the planning report process which would lead me to believe Uskmouth will be rejected. They've ticked all the boxes to date and imo it will happen.

If Sanjeev withdraws some or all of his stake, then I don't think it will affect us as we will have plenty institution's ready to come in.

Also, bear in mind we have another £2m tranche coming any day now which will give us another boost.

So take out the Sanjeev issue and nothing has changed here.

Great LT hold which, when Uskmouth is granted PP, will easily push the SP back above ATHs.

No one's here to abuse you but the way in which you've conducted yourself is nothing short of deramping. If someone doesn't agree, that doesn't mean they're a ramper either
