The view I’ve expressed isn’t just mine. The boss clearly stated the “not upgrading” situation in the results. Good luck though...hope you get the bounce!
Despite the falls I am pretty comfortable being invested here. Safe and divi paying. I’ll buy more if we go sub £5 but new rules will come into force....sell around £5.50 and await inevitable fall back to £4.98....repeat this strategy until millionaire status is secured!
Is destined to struggle. People dont need to renew phones like they used to so SIM only deals are all the rage. My contract is £12 a month SIM only, organised directly with my service provider. Combine this with heavy retail cost commitments and you have a recipe for huge challenges. Definite Sell.
Sub £1.50 in days ahead. Got to be a great short play IMO. GL to all long or short!
....did nicely in at £1.57 took decent divi and out at £1.83....not beyond realms of possibility it could happen again here but I feel only way is down. Risk huge if you are buying in now.
Much worse than last time there was a big drop in SP. Enormous gamble to buy in here at the moment. Sell.
Is great for me at the moment as I think they are way off course with their views on Royal Mail. However I’m out and looking to get back in, £4.75 would be fantastic and think it highly likely I will get this price. If you are in at current price think long term you’ll be OK, if you are more short term in your trading outlook I would consider selling and buying back in. GL all.
I sold at £40.50 and was a bit too quick on the trigger, however made about £650 and my money was only tied up for a week or so. From a risk perspective I feel there is a 20% chance the deal won’t go through which is why the price is dipping. Notwithstanding this I would invest 10k again (short term) if price drops to 39.00 or so. Long term I reckon you’ll be fine even if deal doesn’t go through, but rest assured low 30.00s will follow should it fail. Short term big hit on price however would make a fantasic buying opportunity long term. GL all
Despite problems on various fronts and serious customer service issues the share price seems to be holding up OK. Today looks like a red day for the market in general though so may struggle. Still a sell for me with target buy back price of £1.75. However will be keeping a close eye on developments.
....will be interesting. If it continues to rise we may have seen the bottom already On balance I think further lows will be around the corner but intrigued to see how the SP progresses. For those holding wish you best of luck - personally still hoping for a. £1.75 buy in.
I quite like the shirts at M&S, last time I went the stuff I liked was reduced to half price (assuming fierce competition) and the store (Newcastle Upon Tyne) was somewhat scruffy and poorly stocked with hardly any customers (Friday PM) Delighted to get my clobber half price but left worried for the future of this former giant. Reminded me a little of the mess in Woolies towards the end.....Management need to sort it out!
On balance I'm inclined to agree with Lselsf...too risky at the moment...
Contains a great summary of all the important details and I would say is relatively neutral (or even marginally positive) about the prospects going forward. Very important for BT to hold on to gains today however slight, a red day would not be good for the SP moving forward IMO.
...purchased yesterday after the consistent rises...more research now necessary. Lucky escape! On face of it News surely not that bad though?
HeresHopin have to filter you. I think your posts indicate you will be / are a very poor investor (a good investor looks at both sides of the story) Your opinions will not be worthy of my time moving forward. Childish squabbles and point scoring is not my bag. All the best though.
NDIC - You are exactly right. The engineer was an old timer (maybe late 50’s) who was disgruntled with his employer. He was great though. Very professional, as was the engineer yesterday who was also (but to a much lesser degree) a little peeved with the group as a whole. My wife and I will be leaving the organisation as soon as we are able as the service and products are all very poor. Happy for people to think my opinions are a load of nonsense. Not happy to be accused of lying. Unacceptable.
