Nice bounce this morning, Two positive days would be encouraging for holders, interesting to see where she is by the end of the week.

NDIC - You are exactly right. The engineer was an old timer (maybe late 50’s) who was disgruntled with his employer. He was great though. Very professional, as was the engineer yesterday who was also (but to a much lesser degree) a little peeved with the group as a whole. My wife and I will be leaving the organisation as soon as we are able as the service and products are all very poor. Happy for people to think my opinions are a load of nonsense. Not happy to be accused of lying. Unacceptable.

HeresHopin You seriously think I am lying about having problems with a BT engineer? Why would I do that? Come on son get a grip of yourself. I was a long term holder. I sold as I think prospects have diminished significantly following last results. I subsequently have had a nightmare dealing with BT head office (the engineers have actually been great) and took the opportunity to post my thoughts on here to inform others. If you don’t agree then that’s fine but to accuse someone of lying because their opinion is different to yours is unacceptable. Hopefully a retraction and apology will follow.

Surely my last post was a sell and buy opinion? Not really that negative. A brave investor should consider Sell / Short / Buy IMO. It’s all about opinions. Be pretty boring if everyone thought exactly the same way!

Still think there is great value here. I am considering adding more but have to be careful not to overbalance my holding. Instinct is telling me we may see £10 in the not too distant future. As always DYOR though.

At this price (but only just) I would be interested in buying back in at around £1.70. Good luck to those locked in.

...or just a positive day for the markets? Either way the current price is more or less at my average buy in so with the divi I'm in profit. Lets hope for a nice gradual drift upwards in the weeks ahead.

....for Tesco, I sold the lot at �2.35 and �2.42....clearly hit the button too early but made some great profits on this. Hoping for a retrace to �2.20 to buy back in but no signs of this in the near term... Well done to all the happy long term holders....

As previously posted would have bought at £11.50 a few weeks ago, currently got a buy note in at £9.95, although may now not get that. I would like to be in here, it’s a good business but cant quite put my finger on right buy in price. May wait until next update from co the decide.

You really shouldn’t use statements such as “50% rise guaranteed” on here. Not good for novice investors and you could be on dodgy ground should someone want to take you to task over your comments. Better way to phrase would be “IMO I can see BT shares rising 50% in xx months/years and I will be buying to back up my beliefs” Best not to use “guaranteed” on here. Cheers FC

Over £6 for this share was a bit too frothy in my opinion. However when I sold at £5.80 I thought the most likely scenario was strong results and the SP to stay around high 5’s to low 6’s. I sold as I’m de risking much of my portfolio, instinct is telling me a general market re trace may be around the corner. The current reported results are perfectly acceptable and I think fair value lies about £5.40, however sentiment short term is not likely to be favourable and I think traders will continue to sell and look for better prospects elsewhere. Hence I predict £4.75 in near future I will then be back in as I think long term prospects are very good.

Hey ShaunyMac. Hopefully I’m wrong and it’ll bounce back for you....If you are long term holder 2 years plus or so it shouldn’t matter to you anyway. Think medium to long term RM is a winner just not so sure about the SP in the immediate future.

Hi Mate. Wrong on the fear front. Too experienced for that. Nowadays I always invest with the head. Still get about 30% of decisions partially or totally wrong but that goes with the territory. Last 5 years have been very good overall. You are right about our influence on these boards though, me selling 10 grands worth of shares and moaning about poor service won’t influence the price but it will undoubtedly provide relevant information for PIs to make decisions. Hi guys. I’ve been investing in shares for over 25 years and posting on this board for years. Think I’ve learned a lot over this time. As a previous Bull and holder of BT I feel it is useful for people who use this BB if I post information relating to recent poor customer service issues. This helps people make informed decisions. Not talking the share down and I hope I’m wrong but on the basis of recent results and personal experience I think there is real turbulence ahead for BT and exchanging opinions and relevant information in a civil and friendlymanner is what we should all be doing. SAGA for what it’s worth is a strong buy IMO and I personally would also switch from BT to National Grid whilst you have chance. If I’m wrong I promise I’ll come back here and eat humble pie!
