Share price seems to be swimming on/just the right side of the 86.xx resistance level I mentioned yesterday.
Important if we can stay above this today/next few days :-)

Bonkers I think the markets and everyone beyond that 99.99% knew the 19th was the date (still not actually confirmed) so nothing major left for the market to actually react to.
Saying that I also don't believe the market always reacts in appropriate levels to various news, be that under or overreact.

I see very little reason for Mooky to issue an RNS to announce c. 12% of the business has (will) have capacity restrictions lifted.

New York and California for example create as much business as the entire UK and they are already there (correct me if I am wrong, but think they have restrictions lifted).

Confirmation when it actually occurs is good, when it comes into effect is good, once there is attendance trends for these unrestricted levels is even better (IMHO)

Not sure why a straight up honest guy like yourself would get so angry by a reasonable question on a bulletin board BC.

BC Now we have cleared up other misunderstandings and following your below regards straight up honest. You do mean losing c. £70k currently on your 535,000 shares bought at £ right!? Not the £50k you (I assume accidentally) mentioned below earlier today.
It is good knowing we are all being honest and straight up now :-)

Dragon there is a mix here. Some frequent more than others.
On balance those short, those trading or those with more longterm asperations non the share price are demonised more than the "everything in the business is perfect , new highs in days or couple weeks, takeover from "insert new name" this week/month/soon" brigade.

What's said here makes not the blindest difference to the company or where SP will be 6monrhs, 1year, 5years from now.

Chose your point in time over last 15 months and Longs have been "right"
Traders have been "right"
Shorters have been "right"

They have all also been "wrong", matters not.

So long as your particular investment method has done/does make you money.

Some may not be 100% with their claims here, again matter not other than lieing to themselves.
Doesn't effect your own investment so why worry who is "right/wrong"

Not unreasonable to have different views and not unreasonable to give some basis to your view.

None of them move the share price the direction you want.

smalltrader as a point of note July 19th was NOT CONFIRMED today. That's next week, but YES as has been case since announcement of terminus day it is near certain to happen :-)

Being above or below a figure for a day isn't breaking the resist as I understand it smalltrader.

21 - 25 May saw 3 consecutive days rise in SP .
Also happened early May.

Like this time I think one of those days was a minimal rise.

For the record as a point of clarification:
June was NOT pushed back/cancelled.
It was ALWAYS noted as an "no earlier than/at earliest" date

July 19th I think most reasonable people and the government, press etc all viewed very differently mainly due to: further vaccination importantly having the vulnerable groups double vaccinated. Time to assess the effects and make clear the link between infections and hospitalisations and deaths clearly severely weakened by the vaccines.
That clear detail was not there for a June end.

I would say there has been a pretty clear picture 19th July would mean removal of restrictions and allow nightclubs etc to reopen.
If anything the stopping of mandatory face mask wearing/scrapping QR codes is more/a surprise than capacity limits removed.

Ultimately effect on SP is all short term difference any way.
We know the restrictions lifted at some point (almost certainly knew for weeks now 19th as the date).
The business will ultimately move the SP longterm.

Meanwhile today's announcement has no effect on c. 90% of the business as it's ONLY England.

ROW , Scotland, Wales Ireland also not effected. c15%!?

Yes UK listed company and reacts disproportionately to UK news generally, but in time settles and the business operations will do what is required (or not if you have a shorters view)

How much or little any of us hold here is really of no relevance.

Investing for any length of time surely has taught you it's never smart to gloat on short term movements especially.

Not selling at £ so as you say short term movement and timings of them little concern.
Fairly sure we will require to wait a bit for dividends return, but still might well be worth hanging around those that are long-term hold investors.

So first portion to be eaten by yourself BC£5M+ ;-)
