Anyone that has basics in finance would know how budgets/forecasts are built and with more detail you get better forecasts.

"The principal revenue stream for the Group is box office revenue, which made up 52.6% (2019: 58.0%) of total revenue. Box office function of the number of admissions and the ticket price per admission, less sales tax. Admissions (one of the Group's Key Perform Indicators) depend on the number, timing and popularity of the movies the Group is able to show in its cinemas. In addition, the Group membership schemes which provide customers with access to screenings in exchange for subscriptions fees, and this revenue is recorded within box office.

The Group's second most significant revenue stream is from retail sales of food and drink for consumption within cinemas, which mi 27.2% (2019: 28.4%) of total revenue. Retail revenue across the Group is driven by admissions trends within each operating territor Income represents 20.1% (2019: 13.6%) of total Group revenue.

Other Income is made up of all income other than box office and retail, predominantly revenue from advertisements shown on scree film screenings and revenue from booking fees associated with the purchase of tickets online. The Group also generates distributior the UK and ROW, which is included within Other Income."

Can you explain how you could imagine a nice chunk will have been paid off the debt I'm the first half results announced on 12 August?
The company themselves have told us they were losing c. $60m/month while closed in the later months of their closure (having brought the monthly rate down).
Jan closed loss $60m
Feb closed loss $60m
March closed loss $60
April almost entirely closed loss - $60m or more with some additional reopening costs for small percentage of business.
May reopening over course of the month most of business towards end of month and many still with restrictions and the added cost of reopening (we don't know figures as FACT but I would expect $60m or more loss)
June according to all indicators we have then with lower box office take due to lower attendances (by some way) than pre pandemic I don't think it unreasonable to assume there were not massive profits reducing debt.

I am invested in Cineworld as on balance I believe it can turn things around and get back to being a strong business.
That journey has started, but like I said bumps in road yet to overcome.

Head along to box office Mojo website for example and see the FACTS regards cinema attendance, number of movies released. Then read Cineworld's financials and updates, then look at share price last couple days since no face mask announcement.

I stand by each and every one of those statements as FACTS.
Show me Box office currently at levels Cineworld needs/desires i.e. 2019, same with number of movies.
Look at your or any cineworld for all weeks open so far and for next few weeks and compare weekly releases to past.
Extra costs in the business being open than closed is a FACT. We know what costs were closed FACT we know first half 2021 accounts will show a loss FACT.
We DO KNOW THERE ARE BUMPS YET IN ROAD (Clear pattern out of covid not yet established, clear pattern for future studio release format not yet fully established, return or audience numbers not yet established, Cinemark case no result established the list can go on) FACT.
Share price is NOT £1 + as you boys keep telling us or "should be will be' every other day FACT.

My screening got cancelled as that screen had issue with speakers so after a few attempts at sorting they cancelled.
I just went to the next screening on 2D rather than 3D.
Always surprised the 3D screenings don't appear as popular.

Circa 15 for that showing, where as the regular screening had 45 or so.

Seeing same adverts and trailers back to back covering near an hour may have impacted my level of enjoyment of the film.

Still enjoyed it, but may need to go again to assess better.
It felt a little different from all the Avengers stuff we have had in recent years I think.

Female lead, focused on one character more than group, seemed a bit more (don't know) Mission Impossible/ Bond like!?
Be good to read some reviews when more come through and see how box office goes.

What exactly is your issue BC, you seem to have a disproportionate amount of anger.
That is sad to see, especially from someone straight up honest as yourself with a c. £5m portfolio.
Hopefully you can receive the support you need for whatever your issues are.

YES, but what would it really matter..
Think a few weeks back I said I felt we were nearer bottom end of current reasonable expectations.
At the time I put a 85p - 115p range I think.
That roughly is still my view.
It has been and continues for now to be a stock wide open for trading we have seen for some time.

Might be worth for example looking at your own posts of yesterday and today before trying to have go at anyone else.

Patience is required in general with longterm share investment.
That is particularly true here.

Progress is being made on many fronts, but don't make your own reality of where we stand right now today.
Covid is being "beaten" in parts of the world, but it hasn't disappeared.
Studios are releasing movies, but not yet enough.
Yes "we are open", but being open alone doesn't = much higher share price. Currently we are a heavily indebted company that is currently likely eating into what's left of those debt cash reserves.
We need to be open with no restrictions across our markets, with number of big movies backed up by rafts of "support" movies, with higher average attendance than we currently have. This then leads to higher box office/consessions (enough to stop bleeding cash then make sufficient profits to reduce debt).
The UK government likely removing masks indoors at this terminus date has on balance likely been viewed negatively.

On the road, there are (considerable) bumps yet to overcome fully.
