The price drop since March30 Jun 2021 18:22
Struggling somewhat to fully justify the level of drop we have seen and who knows there may yet be more.
Much has been said in recent weeks it's all MM, hedge funds suppression etc.
However I have a problem seeing this as any significant part in the current drop (it may well be part of it).
Reason for my issue with this is: back early this year and for large part last year without doubt this was happening.
We have the evidence right before us in countless RNS updates often weekly or more from Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
Their positions up down down up.....
More recently it would appear BOA had a little dabble at similar .
However in recent weeks/last month or so we have not had any RNS of note to show changes in holdings and on short tracker again nothing of note.
So I am none the wiser, but am rather puzzled.
Covid, debts, studios etc etc we have generally a better position with these now than we have had last year/early this year.
So what is materially different to cause this?
Yes, I have stated and will repeat I believe SP got ahead of itself briefly in March, but not this much (IMHO).
Jordan most likely scooping up the last dregs of shares he can on the cheap before his takeover before end this week.
