Other difficulties Cineworld have and do face have and are also well covered
So thanks for your warning, I feel everyone here is well aware of what issues are around.

What are you desperately hoping to achieve coming back to one of your previous investments being negative on it.
All very salty from someone that invested near the top (110p) took a 70% hit selling near the lows (sub 40p I think!?).

Then took what was left and invested high again at 74 on a stock now at low 60's.

Call me stupid, but I don't think there will be a rush to sell here and follow your advice.

We all make mistakes in life and those still here may well be making a mistake continuing to hold. That's our choice and win or lose will take it on the chin.
Stop being bitter, it will eat you up worse than your current financial losses.

KTP , some shorts likely put more weight on the negatives around the company than the positives (the ones some try to pretend don't exist).

Incase you or others have missed it this year has been one of the worst starts for wider market in a very long time. So while there are some Cine specific issues, there is also considerable drag from wider market.

You make an assumption current Cineworld shareholders would quickly make a buck from US listing, few things in life are guaranteed.

I think it is also useful for some that worry regards daily price movements to look at the trading volumes doing this.
We have seen good few red days again, BUT it is on insignificant volumes also largely days where market in general has struggled.
We are a "weak" stock just now so easy in such circumstances to get few p off the price.

Worth also remembering the FT article shared just yesterday/day before.
Why raise money now by a US listing (or other methods) it would only then potentially be gobbled up paying CP compensation.

Better to hold such until after that dispute is resolved.

Two MAJOR legal battles is rather a lot for company to focus on along with trying to get cinema business back on track.

MrStu why a progress report on something that has NEVER been stated as something company is doing?
Like raising more money from its current lenders previously it is only one of various options it will look at as a business for possible future .
Until it decides that is route it is going down there is no update.
Can't blame Mooky for posters here taking a statement from company and making it more than it was.
We have FY results next month I am sure if there is anything of note to disclose then it shall at the appropriate time.

I mean beyond:
lodging the CP appeal
Lodging claim against insurers.
Working with studios to get them fully back on board with theatrical releases, release more product, agree fair cut.
Moving poor performing sites
Adding and improving good sites
Having discussions with lenders and keeping those relationships strong and supportive.
Investigating methods best suited to improve/add liquidity.
Steering through worst period in cinematic history.
And many many other things I am sure.

From what we have had so far I think that would be rather a stretch.
