Disney Investor Presentation10 Dec 2020 21:59
Early info seems to suggest they intend to (as many would probably have thought) continue to distribute a mix of routes to market and content.
Without saying covid directly, they also talk of their plans essentially being as things are now and they will however continue to be driven by their customers and changes in market demands.
A mix of traditional theatrical releases, cinema/streaming together releases, content only for streaming.
I get the sense that for the most part the BIG blockbuster movies route to market will be firstly cinema then in time hit Disney plus.
As is already on streaming services there will be "offshoot" mini series of the franchise movies.
Shift of emphasis from their old channels to streaming e.g. Disney channel of old to Disney plus.
Disney bundle packages - Disney plus, Hulu and (was it ESPN!?) for $12.99/month with a no adverts version for extra $6/month.
Bundling couple other revenue streams...blah blah blah.
Think already got what's most important regards Cinema and Cineworld.
