No it does not mean Cineworld opening on 25th.
WW releases on 16th outside USA for one.
Cineworld have made it VERY clear not opening until there is a number of movies lined up.
Not cost effective to open for one movie to only then require to close again.
Restriction levels this month are not favourable either.

Hold and ride the waves your words, future was unknown then and still is.
Nobody knows how the WB deal will play out yet as I said they apparently offering $$ to the cinemas as way of making WW work for all. I would expect similar for this year project.
Mooky may say no thanks and simply not show any WB movies.
Other brands are available.
Anyway logging off for tonight as even some lo g holders seem to have adopted a shorters negativity tonight after a 14.5% rise day.

I still believe in Cineworld as a company and cinema as a business.
Recent gains have been very nice.
There will be ups and downs between now and X point in future.
Worrying before the event rarely serves any good purpose.
Today December 3rd I am enjoying where we are.
Today December 3rd I am looking forward to Cineworld profitable future.
Would rather have not seen WB experiment for next year, but we have to expect as in life everything can't be positive all the time.
Let's see where this single element of a huge pie goes, until then try not overshadow with worry our recent gains.
If you were told 60p plus few weeks back sure you all would have been rather pleased :-)
Still expect a future with £1+, £2+ and eventually £3+
Nothing changed in my long term investor view.

We all need to see how it eventually plays out.
It is only on HBO MAX, currently USA and Canada service.
There will very possibly be deal similar to that offered to theatres for the WW deal with the cinemas getting financial compensation effectively.
Any SP impact will most likely be short term.
Won't be so foolish as to predict what effect it will have tomorrow/coming days/weeks.
It's basically a covid story and we know that is something that may well change rapidly from here forward into next year.

Well the bookies still have a deal being done this year a strong favourite MOOla.
They sometimes get it wrong obviously, but not as often as they get it right.

Ian Not convinced any major players with big buy ins as yet (could well be wrong).
Just the volumes still very low I feel to back that possibility up.

Ah but we can celebrate more than once Crumpets.
I might say even after open And a blockbuster is too early to celebrate, but it is another step.
Here for long journey to higher than ever cine profits and strong dividends so I expect to be around well past next year.

Don't worry folks your faith (and research that got you in) will pay handsomely all in good time.
Cineworld is a business run by a driven shrewd man with a desire to not stand still.
Previous SP is seen as unlikely by many and some have reasonable reasons (others don't) for this.
However I believe and can see in time this surpass previous levels as the business enjoys firstly the backlog of blockbusters, starts to make profit and reduce debts from measures it has already taken and will do further. We are in a period of the $1bn plus movie and the studios will be driven to continue to make some ever bigger to benefit them, cinema and us shareholders ultimately in the right cinema chain.
Dividends will in time return and at our buy in levels will prove to be handsome dividends indeed.
Much of that is not tomorrow, next week, month or next year.
However it is entirely feasible in a few years.

For me the time to celebrate will be when whoever the long-term holder is with highest average buy price is no longer in the red and has not been for a period of time.
Whoever you are I look forward to you seeing green on your Cineworld investment at some point in future.

Hold on long holders we have hardly even started yet.
Volumes still very small on trading so just wait until market fully gets this one and shorts get pushed into a corner when the good news yet to flow through happens.

Key is to hold above 68p today then we have crossed and held a significant point on the charts.
