Maucha - I'll buy Capita when it gets to £1.43 and sell when it gets to £1.48. I have been doing this for the past few weeks - a decent return on a day trade or 2 day trade. I agree with you, Capita will go higher in the next few months, I'd suggest it may get to £1.60 to £1.70 range. Shares tend to gain some momentum by early October. I bought in at £1.21 and got out at £1.48 (bought when the SP bombed last month and got out at £1.48) For past few weeks I've just day traded or 2 day trade as the SP didn't want to get above £1.50.

MaRight now Capita is trading in a range fromucha - I can't see this getting to £2....it would take very good news for Capita to reach this SP. Right now Capita is trading in a range of circa £1.40 - £1.50. Traders are keeping it within this range at the moment. I tend to wait until it's closer to £1.40 and get out if it gets close to £1.48.

Maucha - I think we all learn as we go along. Have made some mistakes (hence no longer go by analysts opinion). I've learnt not to be too greedy and take profits when they are on the table. I've also learnt to take a loss rather than holding on in blind faith. It's a case of understanding SP patterns and ranges on any particular share. It's better than holding cash in the bank with almost zero interest!

Maucha - I do 'Invest' in some companies and 'Day-Trade' others. IMO Capita is not an investable company - can't see where any growth is, hence the day trades. My Investments are only in companies where I see proven growth potential. I do agree with your comment that so called Analysts only react to SP movements and I always ignore their opinion. I go on fundamentals and not analysts opinions.

I never go by what so called Analysts suggest....they were saying 'Buy' when Capita was £13 a share.
SP is only worth what the market says. Capita history shows a constant decrease over the past 2 years. It may very well get to £1.70 but it's not a growth share. One bit of bad news and it crashes. I day trade Capita every so often (relatively large investment).

Won't be any takeover - it's owned by Private Equity + it's got circa £2 billion debt.

I intend to jump back into Evraz just before COB today.....hopefully pick up decent profit next week

No news on Capita......just a case of money flowing into Capita when the overall market is in a bit of the doldrums.

Tony - one thing I have learnt is to take the profit when it's there (have been a bit too greedy in the past and I've learnt lessons). Mind you, I've just chucked a few more £ at KAZ today.....will be interesting to see how that turns out

Chipstacker - it's never an easy call when to get in/out. I got out a bit too early today (wasn't expecting to see such a big jump today). I'm still ok with my £2k profit.....could have been almost £3k if I stayed in!. There will be a bit of a sell off this evening (PI's taking profit), but I still this has legs this week (as long as Trump stays quiet).

Indeed, a bit early to jump....but I'm ok with a £2k day trade profit on this one.

Didn't want to be too greedy....cashed in at £5.16 = a £2k profit since Friday. Will get back in if SP goes below £5.10.

With a bit of luck and Trump keeping his mouth shut....this could well hit £5.20 by end of the week.

Chipstaker - thanks, Evraz has been good to be. I'll keep an eye on it over the next day or so.

Another £1,000 profit in the bank in first 30 mins of trading today (bought on Friday afternoon). Tony 22012015 pessimistic opinion of £3.70 SP is far off the mark.

I wouldn't worry about the SP drop on Friday. I'd suggest it's just a degree of profit taking pre bank holiday weekend and the decent SP movement over the past month or so. I got in at £1.21 about 3 weeks ago and have been topping up regularly since. My opinion is that this will settle at £1.50 - £1.60 range in the next few weeks and then hopefully with a bit of investor confidence will head slowly upwards from there.

Morning Coffee - No CFD's, just basic buy & sell (anything between £25k to £50k at a time). The SP has been fairly predictable for the past few months (until recently). It's a case of monitoring the SP price range and then trusting my instinct as to what is a reasonable SP to get in at and then not being too greedy and getting out when I feel it has met my criteria.

All Miners are up today after the hammering they've had over the past few weeks. KAZ is currently in it's own little bubble (doubt the movement albeit very small has anything to do with minor movements in copper). Will be good if KAZ can maintain this holding pattern for a few days - may give some confidence and encourage some PI's back into play.

You must be mistaken this for KAZ....Evraz has been very good to me over the past 3 months......good day trade share. It'll never see 370. I previously traded this share between range of 500 - 525, then got back in at 460 and day traded this since.
