Yes, Cantor’s and Peel Hunt’s research/price targets are not aimed at private clients.

If Peel Hunt are buying these it won’t be on the back of any inside knowledge of financing. They will probably have been pushing HZM ever since they got the brokership and may now be getting some decent orders.

Peel Hunt Mining team are pretty well regarded.
I suspect the management hired them as Nomad with a mandate to spread the word and get the price up.
If you are negotiating a price for a 3rd party to take a portion of equity, the higher the current price the better. It’s hard to sell equity to someone at 12p if the current price is 6p.
