There is always a chance that the raise was a necessary but not sufficient condition for staying on schedule. It looks a bit binary to me - full finance deal = moon bound, no finance deal = uh-oh. Full finance deal remains by far the more likely outcome, I think.

Only skimmed the article, but maybe the issue is this - that there is a chance that battery tech will find a better material than nickel, while copper is unlikely to be replaced as our favourite conducting metal as the globe goes electric?
I may be demonstrating my ignorance of battery tech here, happy to be corrected by brainier people on here
