I don't go wandering round haphazardly looking for stocks to punt on. SNG is 0.25% of my portfolio. It's the only stock I own that I would regard as a punt. The vast majority of the rest is invested for income, being as I am an elderly retired gentleman sorely in need of income to spend on beer.

I make one comment suggesting that there might be downside as well as upside to SNG, and that it’s risky to have all your investments in one stock, and I get accused of deramping. You need to be a bit more realistic. If SNG001 gets dropped for Covid 19 at the end of the trial process, what do you think the share price will do? Personally I think it has a decent chance of making it, and making it big, but it’s naive to think it’s not risky.

You are mistaken. After 35 years in the investment industry, It bothers me if anyone goes all in on ANY share regardless of how much of a sure thing it looks.

TL. If the company wasn’t high risk, it wouldn’t have any crucial phases. Everything would be nailed on.

I didn’t look at BigJohnny’s numbers, just that he was nearly all in, because that is what matters, not the absolute amount.

Although I must say it does worry me when I see peeps going all in on what I see as a pretty binary stock. I know it’s none of my business but I can’t help it. Sorry.

I’m only in for £2500 here because it’s a bit of a punt and I’m not really a gambler, but if we see £10 I could afford to travel to most UK rivers for a free lager shandy.

I mean, it looks good, but I'm always getting sucked in by positive co. announcements......

If they and I both got in at 7.5p, and the price 6 months later was 35p, I would very likely sell out based purely on the profit I had made, but they, being pros, would still be looking hard at the future as the most important part of their decision as to what to do with their stake
