Since they are major shareholders I am reasonably optimistic that their strategy will be shareholder friendly

I think Polygon have gone long via contracts for differences with Aurora, Natixis, Jeffries and JPMC, under which contracts those 4 holders have agreed to vote the shares the way that Polygon instruct. That’s why Polygon are listed as having the voting rights via financial instruments, while Aurora, Natixis, Jeffries and JPMC are listed as the shareholders - because they still own the shares.

Polygon won't be laughing at sellers because..
1) They are professional
2) They recognise that people sell for all sorts of different reasons
3) They generallycouldn't care less where the shares come from anyway, a;though they might try and get a clue where the stock was coming from if they were offered a huge lump
4) They recognise that they may possibly be wrong about SNG (although obviously they, and we on this board, don't think they are) and that any triumphalism is premature and childish
