Doesn’t make it risk free. There is, for example, the risk that company will blow the cash on a further trial ….or RM’s salary….and once again fail to demonstrate efficacy.
And of course the share price is 14.4p higher than the cash balance anyway. There is no guarantee that the data is worth anything. It might be, but no-one has bid for the company so far.

Whatever the management’s intention, they have to carry on as though they plan to go all the way through to production. Otherwise they are just treading water and failing to add value.
